This episode felt like an episode of Constantine (6 years after the show ended) but anyway loved seeing John and Spooner share screen time, they really haven't been on screen together. Love Mick being pregnant and Sara Gary and Ava at the end. Gus Gus is free so we'll definitely be seeing him again and maybe a team up with Kayla? The ending surprised me and I'm excited to see where the last 5 episodes of the season do with it.

Entertaining enough

Though I thought last weeks episode was better. I still liked this one because Mick is really changing for the better and embracing fatherhood in more ways than one. Oh Constantine, what are you doing? I forgot he could be this obsessive when it came to magic.
UGH another 2 week break???? BOO. I understand the ramifications of Covid and effects on all but at the same time: all these long breaks aren't fun either.

Warning: Spoilers
Oh. We're continuing with Gus-Gus? Oh brother. Constantine has been talking to the talking painting ever since. Oh at least. We're getting more of Spooner and Rory's daughter & Constantine. The two inspect his back. Spooner pays Constantine a visit on the ship about a map on Fountain of Imperial something something Spain, giving him the location to. The two travel to Spain, 1939 in the middle of a Civil War traveling to a local pub to get two glasses of wine. They got company as the other two people draw their guy on 'em until they lower their weapons down as Constantine claims himself that he took part in the war that suddenly worked. The two talk to a gentleman of a man named "El Gato". The two stop talking to him and finds whatever they are looking for. The two find a boy until they hear a vehicle approaching. I assume, the German enters the local pub. They have been sent by Herr Hitler to hunt down a man known as El Gato. The German fatally fires at El Gato who was the Gentlemen all the time. The boy comes to him, and El Gato is resurrected! He thanks the boy. The German commands to arrest everyone. Meanwhile, Constantine runs away to a crop farm. The boy is revealed that he is El Gato's nephew. The other German commands him to speak even though he is muted, threatening to kill him until Priest Constantine arrives! Haha! He claims that he has been looking for an ancient relic.
Meanwhile, Gus-Gus has been transported to a jungle keeping the Legends some company. Priest Constantine is creating a portal between the "Virgin" and the "Key". Spooner translates whatever the boy is saying. Spooner asks him where is the cave, but he is uncertain. A revolution happens in the pub, some great gunfight here. Constantine and the two run to a forest, they eventually discover the cave to find the Imperium. Too bad. It's all dried up and a bunch of bloody rocks. Constantine tells Spooner to give Fernando's powers to him. They do so.
It transports to the Fountain instead of Constantine. The other two go as the Germans enter the cave. Constantine drinks the small potion granting him madness and power against the Germans. What a wacky scene that was. Constantine passes out due to the effects of the potion. The A. I. states there are 48 eggs on Rory's back. God, this is so weird when it comes to pregnant men. Gary finally finds his glasses. Sara and Ava find out that Rory is having babies. Meanwhile, Fernando finally reunites with his nephew. Constantine & Spooner go back to the Mansion to take about what happened. Constantine commands Spooner to sleep and tell the Legends that their mission has been largely successful. Say goodbye to Crowley.
Thoughts?
I find the Constantine plot here to be far more interesting than the Gus-Gus situation. Speaking about Constantine's plot, I find the pacing and tones were well-done. Constantine looks fine in his new outfit. I do find Rory & his daughter's plotline to be decent. I haven't been a big fan of Spooner until this.
8/10.
