Fun video, cool song and Jonathan Demme's cameo is a plus

I never heard of Joe Lamont before neither heard of his music so the main element who brought me here was the cameo by director Jonathan Demme ("The Silence of the Lambs" and "Philadelphia" fame) in one of his rare acting roles ever - the same year of this clip release he appeared as an FBI agent in John Landis "Into the Night", a movie that has countless directors in amusing and fun roles. Next thing I know I was hooked by the clip's story and Lamont's interesting song.

Here, Lamont plays a private eye hired by a worried man (Sandy Helberg) who is very suspicious of his beautiful wife thinking she might be having an affair. Lamont takes the case, following the woman everywhere and finding out that she has lots of lovers (one of them played by Demme, the very first one). And in between taking pictures and chasing her in several places, Lamont performs the song and plays his guitar.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for music videos that present stories rather than just performances of the song, and here's a quite fun video to watch and the song is quite good too. Thanks to this clip I'll probably check out more of Lamont's works. Thumbs up. 8/10.
