The Show Would Be Better If
twinsbaby9 August 2021
The show is supposed to be an open dialogue but Kevin has a habit of cutting his guests off when they're trying to speak. He asks good questions but he doesn't allow them to completely finish before he asks something else. He also did this when he himself was a guest on Lebron's show, "The Shop: Uninterrupted". I think once he stops taking over the entire interview, the show will be much better as it has potential to be much greater! I'll keep watching it for sure.

Good!
jar-46-2507623 August 2021
Have only watched 1 episode and it was the one with Bryan Cranston. It's good, but you need to go into this series as them having a conversation vs an interview. I think I learned more about Kevin Hart than Bryan Cranston. Will definitely continue watching, and hope to learn more about the upcoming guests than the host himself. Kevin is a genuine person though and I loved his sincerity in his conversations.

I love this show (just hear me out)
and_shove_it_up_your_butt23 October 2022
Granted, I've only watched two episodes (the one with Jay-Z was my first episode) so far. These were both season two episodes so perhaps he has settled in a little more into his role in comparison to the first season, I dunno. What I like though, is that he asks some really great questions and doesn't always take the easy way out. That Jay-Z episode had a ton of great nuggets in it, so much so that I rewound the last maybe 5-10 minutes and re-listened to it twice.

I'm here for this show as long as Kevin continues to extract the info the audience needs while also allowing his guest to shine. He's a little rough around the edges at times but ultimately he's got a great show on his hands that I hope continues for several more seasons.

I'm editing my review: Watching the episode with Iron Mike and Kevin will not stop talking about himself. Damn dog. Just take a breath and hush for a minute. Kevin has excellent guests but he needs to learn to pull back a bit.

A NEW Talk show HOST, Different kind of Talk show !!
SL_Gator00714 August 2021
I just started to watch the show. It feels very unique because Kevin let his guests speak freely and open up about them and their stories, what they have to say. It's like watching fun and inspirational conversation between two people. It never gets boring. I can watch these all day.

Kevin is a good personality I love his work and I hope this show will continue for a long time. Keep up the good work. I recommend it to everyone. It's fun and inspirational !!

.PS - I'm from a different part of the world. :) I just got the Peacock streaming service just to watch Hart to Heart. So this is a real review of how I felt. Keep up the good work.

The Interruption Hour With Kevin Hart
genious-3541326 September 2021
If only Kevin Hart aspired to be a good host as much as he aspires to keep his name out there at any cost... This is just another unambitious talk show that feels tired and uninspired. I sense that very little preparation went into this and maybe Hart isn't one to listen to the advice of people who KNOW what makes talk shows work. And in the end, this will likely not succeed and he will blame it on 'too many chefts in the kitchen. But that's really not what the problem is.

It's just not a good show.

Ignore the haters

Warning: Spoilers
I scanned other reviews before writing this and I'm baffled that so many people are saying "stop interrupting your guest" as if that's not part of the comedy of Kevin. He's not operating in the traditional host category and instead of acknowledging the refreshing change in the interview process people are giving a negative review because they don't see the cookie cutter material they're used to. The conversations are interesting, the guest list is versatile and it keeps you looking forward to the next episode. Love the wine aspect and the fact that they have a sommelier. I also appreciate how much respect he has for his guests and willingness to always give them their props for their success!

Stop interrupting your guests!
rachaeldoherty12 August 2022
In the beginning of the Hart/MacFarlane interview, Hart makes a point to say he is here to make the guest comfortable. He then proceeds to interrupt Seth constantly. Hart comes off aggressive. He was incredibly rude to his guest.

I've watched a few of his interviews prior to this. He has no ability to conduct a smooth interview. He needs to shut up and let people talk. Watching this interview was painful and I feel bad for Seth.

Really interesting and entertaining
christina-jagxj63 August 2023
I wasn't familiar with kevin Hart until I ran into this interview show. I think he is really good at listening and pulling out stories from his guests. He is an interested interviewer, because he is interviewing his friends and hero's. How cool for him and for us. I enjoy his personal input too, making it a two way conversation. It is funny too, the way many of the guests clearly respect him but love to tease him. I also like the way he is humble about what he doesn't know and all about building people up and learning from them. He is very experienced and knowledgeable about business, and the entertainment industry. I hope this show continues for a long time. I've now seen one of his stand up comedy routines and plan to explore his other performances.

Dick Cavett He Ain't
leftbanker-123 December 2022
First of all, I just don't care enough about the guests to be entertained this long hearing about their lives. I think the standard few minutes of talk shows is more than adequate to hear what Miley Cyrus or whoever has to say. I didn't know several of the guests (not that I bothered watching the show) but one is described on her IMDb bio as being "a strong believer in God."

Kevin Hart is really not qualified for the job. He isn't very articulate and he doesn't seem to have a lot of experience to draw on when asking questions. Go watch David Cavett reruns on YouTube and you'll be rewarded. That guy could really do an interview.

The least funny "comedian" to ever live
jacobnunnally21 July 2022
Poor guy doesn't have a funny bone in his entire body. Makes me cringe when he tries to be funny. I wonder what would happen if he tried to do a set at Comedy Cellar. He get heckled all the way home.

Amazing he has a career in comedy - I've never actually heard him tell a joke. It's all "delivery". Thing is, making weird faces and acting like you're dumb isn't funny except to maybe a 3-year old. Truly, truly embarrassing.

Learning through conversation
woodsjanalyn3 November 2021
I enjoyed listening to all the guests and their stories of getting into and being in the business; but aside from all that some interesting facts about totally different subjects can come up just through general conversation. I especially enjoyed the episode with Taraji, where she mentioned a historical fact about "normalized" Hush Pupppies; this was something interesting and educational to me.
