Another classic episode. Terrific penultimate episode.

The team are drawn into a case of international magnitude, against the backdrop of what happened to San Tyler.

This is an intriguing episode, the mystery itself is very enjoyable, but it is trumped by the background noise, who on earth is Keats, and what exactly is he up to. His presence and the visions are all adding up to a bizarre mystery. What on Earth lies ahead in the finale? Chris said something very revealing, a voice from the past.

A great episode for Chris in particular, but each of the main players had a big part to play.

It should be answering the questions, but true to form, it continues to ask them right until the end, who is that guy, and does his fate rest in the past or present.

Brilliant penultimate episode. 9/10.

Seeing stars

Still a quality episode but apart from the great music there did seem to be something lacking. The individual episode storyline seemed to be put in the background in favour of building up towards the final episode. Still a great watch though. Africa by toto might have bee a better song to play than Nelson Mandela which wasn't actually released until the following year.

All set up for a gripping finale

Warning: Spoilers
With so many loose threads needing to be tied up the actual solving of the crime (linked to the Apartheid crisis having an effect on London) in this episode almost takes second place to that.

It's another mind bending episode, due to the fact that as an audience we are trying to piece together how it all is going to end, but it's certainly a good one, with good performances and music throughout.

After a bit of a breather from it we also get the stirrings of the Alex/Gene love story too.

It's all set up now for what hopefully is a fitting finale.

A return to form at last.

Finally we get a decent episode in season 3.

This one is a return to form with proper story telling and development.

There's some seriously moving moments as the Jim Keats story line eases off. Even so, it always lingers like a foil and unnecessary smell.

An excellent episode.
