I've possibly seen every dogumentary ever made. This is chocked full of deeper science. Easily the best ever.

Great information about our past and how dogs came about, how they've grown into the fur babies we all love. Loved seeing how helpful dogs are to children, vets and more. They are so patient and give us all unconditional love. This show got me a little teary eyed but most of all I learned details that make them unique. Dogs rock!

Whole episode of worshiping of dogs. Zero objectivity, zero comparision, only how perfect dogs are. Really dissapointing episode. I hope previous were not so biased?

A sad story

In short, this episode is all about how good a dog can be as a tool.. for us humans. Not once is the mind of the dog itself reflected on.

A dog is more than a tool. SO much more! This is a disgrace of a "docu".

Where are the cats?

This episode begins with the ridiculous premise that dogs are man's best friend. That's an outrageously arrogant assumption. I could have lived with this if Explained had done an episode on cats giving it equal heft. Obviously they can't be bothered with that.

By the way, cats are in fact the number one pet in the world, more than dogs. In the United States, the UK, Russia, China, France, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Brazil, Japan, and the Ukraine there are more pet cats than dogs. So what's with this show's horrible premise? Did no one at the studio think to check the numbers?

Ultimately, the show was cancelled. Good.
