Dr. Lightman is giving a lecture about lie to a group of children with their teacher Miss Angela in his office when FBI ASAC Bill Steele comes to his building to ask for his services. Soon the learns that the farmer Harold Clark, who lost his family farm to the bank, is parked in front of the Treasury Department building a few blocks far from The Lightman Group demanding to speak with the president. He drove his tractor pulling a container where he claims there is a bomb to Washington D. C. and says that there is a detonator on his seat. If he leaves the tractor or dies, the bomb will blow up. Cal assigns Loker to take care of the children with Miss Angela and asks Torres, who is not in the office, to visit Harold's wife to know whether he is bluffing or not. After a long tension, Cal learns that Harold is only a puppet and someone else is the real mastermind of the terrorist act.
"Tractor Man" is a great episode of "Lie to Me", with a tense story of terrorism. The plot holds the attention of the viewer from the beginning, and Loker and the children are the relief. The plot is well-resolved, with the odd Cal risking his life to prove his point. My vote is eight.
