What a surprise for this french political thriller made for TV.
I guess no one has seen it. It has been aired on ARTE channel. François Berléand gives here a absolutely terrific performance. He plays an ex cop who becomes a sort of shadow man, a kind of secret agent who plans to set up an obscure affair in order to serve the politics. A phony killing against a politician. A phony killing that finally is not so phony. And, of course, everything falls down. And then his own life is in danger. Berleand who, I repeat, is outstanding. I have never seen him like this before. He usually plays in comedies, except perhaps in LE CONVOYEUR...
So shame that no one seems to have seen this film. But I did.
