Must watch the original history about Mapilalahala 1921. This was a horrific incident that happened in our area. I have had first hand information from many grandparents and their friends when I was a kid. For years due to politics and fake secularism they were twisting and hiding about this. Finally now, at least some relief to the countless Hindus who were brutally murdered for trusting some. There are so many documented evidences from British records in spite of many evidences burnt away! This is a must watch for all people of India. Forgive but not forget the history. Truth has finally made its way to people. Thanks to the director and team.

Great acting by the crew. Of course, VFX in certain places could have been better but with the political pressure, gundaism, lack of producers, lack of actors willing to act being scared and so many other struggles. This team has brought the truth to the people. Hats off to the whole crew. The souls of those people who died in this mapla lahla will thank this team that finally their voice came out to the public. I sincerely hope people are matured enough to watch history as it is. It is what it is. No need to hide anything what happened.

You need to READ the Book "The Moplah Rebellion, 1921" composed by that time Deputy Governor Mr. C Gopalan Nair.

This book is not a fiction or imaginary writings. Its infact a composition made using the Newspaper Articles of those time and the facts are really spine chilling. How can people be so brutal towards fellow Human Being. Really shame on such Radicalised Set of Viruses and the people who support them silently and never even think about bringing reforms.

But now I could see things are changing, Radicalism will never make anyone win, best example is the Global Begger nation Pakistan.

My salute to the crew members for daring to come up with something like this.

I thank Mr. Ramasimhan(Ali Akbar) ,for revealing the ultimate truth. There are no words to describe the.riots. Such a barbaric cruelty at the highest level. The picturization was deeply effective .Really surprised on Why we never discuss this matter in our society very deeply , frequently and genuinely..Where is the so called intellectuals and liberals .A secular society is a Myth unless and until.it serve.all people equally and compensate the wounded ones with justice.

Time is not over, let the culprit's current generation to compensate the losses .I hope they will watch the film and understand the pain of the victims. Strongly believe that,Silence on this kind of crime is not at all suitable for any society. Karma is a boomerang and its never going to excuse anybody at any point of time.

Truth finally comes out, time couldn't steal it

The film is an actualistic picturisation of the reality behind Mopila Riots.

The same had been twisted, tweeked and historically distorted by many with evil, devilish intensions.

Even though the film doesn't have a Hero, the director Rama Simhan turns out to be the real Hero of the Hindu revival by leading from the front against all odds thrown on him in every steps, by anti human elements.

This could be the first time in the history of cinema that a film was produced via public funding and this includes myself as well.

The director and the actors of which almost all are new faces did a good job under the tuff situations they faced all over during the shooting, production and release process of this historic film.

This film which started as a small water stream have turned out into a river and will soon merge to be part of Ocean.

Sunamis are sure to hit the Societies marking the begining of the end of the demonic, evil creatures.

The film no doubt will be remembered as a historic mirroring which created decisive turn around in the though process of millions, towards the betterment of the society.

Honest and ethical movie about 1921 mapila lahala

Firstly👌a big salute DIRECTOR Ali Akbar, done a fantastic job and honestly portrayed about 1921 lahala according to madavan nairs book written on mapila lahala. The author was a member of khilafath. So one time to watch and must show our teenagers also.

. The history is written by the winners. As some of our text books and politicians says it is a freedom struggle. Actually itbwas not. If it was a freedom struggle why 8t is happened in malappuram district only. Not happened in other dustricts. When we see this film we will be realiswd about that. It is not against islam or Muslim people. But it is against communalists and terrorists.

Heartfelt gratitude to the creator of this movie and admire his determination and hardwork in accomplishing such a great achievement.

Please make this movie a box office success so that the future ecosystem will dare to express the truth with courage.

Salute to Ramasimhan sir and all the artists including Joy Mathew who stood with this movie with determination.

Helped me to understand the reality, unfortunately our education system doesn't depicts anything about this incident.

One should watch this to understand real struggle faced by majority of people on basis of religion , and how false narrative by our historian who mixed it with freedom fighters/fighting to call this movement as freedom fight.

Director tried his level best to capture the history very well and story and crew justifies his efforts.

Thanks for making such a beautiful movie and hope it will be released in OTT sooner and no political party or politicians will Stop screening this movie.

Really a great movie. I am planning to view this movie multiple times.

The movie reveals the plot by the Islamic radicals, in lines with the facts.

It is a must watch for all citizens of India and others to know the gruesome atrocities committed against the innocent people and how the authorities and the then government had suppressed these facts. The government and the people now have a chance to restore justice and take necessary steps to prevent such massacres from recurring. Let the people decide and take precautionary measures. Simply hats off to the makers of such gripping and fact revealing movie.

.. Present generation was depended on the work of unethical historian like Mr. Guha. Historian distort our history and now time has come reval the truth to the world. Now present Government is work on the same and re-write the true fact. Earlier historian will get exposed and Indian will not forget them. This is not one cases of we dig out then we will find how the Muslim rular are glorified after doing all crime and genoside in different occasion.

A story the world should know

The movie might not be a box office entertainment but a glimpse into the past from a different perspective of Kerala freedome struggle period. Hard truth are well shown in the movie, history which would be erased if these movies were never created. And for that sole purpose I truly appreciate the intent of this movie. The movie was a hard focus into the violence by the moplas and the true purpose of these mass murders. Some historians are depicting these mass murders as freedome fighters and all thanks to this movie, hopefully that would come to an end. Lastly, although the movie tried to bring unknown freedom fighters like Mr. Madhavan Nair into the limelight but failed to illustrate the fruits of these silent heroes .

A malayalam movie which frankly says true story of 1921 Mappila lakala. Thank you Mr Ali Akbar for your effort to open the hidden historic event in to this generation.

Never expect quality of a high budget movie. Good effort from new actors, sound mixing and colour adjustments require more improvements.

Senior actors did their job very well 4.5/5. As we said before a movie releasing against current political scenario they gonna face various challenges. Here we salute the brave heart of Mr Ali Akbar of your effort.

Before watching this movie try to understand historical details of 1921, which makes more easy analysis of the movie. A movie with true events always face more criticism than a fictional movie.

Good historic film

Hats off to Mr Ramasimhan for bringing out the truth of genocide in this historic film. He has done a commendable job in completing the film in a shoe string budget, that too during covid pandemic. He faced lot of challenges from adversaries, still finished work on this film. Most importantly He faced challenges in getting film certifications as well. I believe this is the first film in Malayalam produced by crowd funding method.

To talk about the story line and acting , it is done perfectly well. One would not notice how film which is having duration of close to three hours got over, viewers will have to return with a heavy heart on seeing the film, as it is too heart touching.

I would say it is a fantastic film. Special thanks to Director who showed the courage to make a film like this.

There is no fantasy or action sequences, but is the real life that is showcased in the big screen.

Even though it has no any big names in the Actors list, still they were able to manage with the less known talents.

I did not feel bored at any time during the movie and i would say it is the director who moulded this historic movie like this.

I know lots of people are putting negative reviews without even watching the trailer and those people are just spoiling the effort of these talented people who made this reality in to big screen.

Eagerly waiting for the OTT release.

Excellent movie .. appreciate the the effort, grit and the willingness to produce such a movie.

History seems to be twisted and far from the truth many a times.. It should be a challenging scenario to explore the experiences of the older generations who are the survivors of the 1921 incident.

The younger generations who are alive now in Malabar, adjoining areas and family members of those who have fled from the assaulters then, might have given you some insights.

Waiting to see more such factually oriented movies in future too. This will inspire many youngsters to take such types of challenges.
