Going Rogue
Hitchcoc17 January 2017
The episode starts out with Sarah and Stephen on their faces, being subdued by the FBI who immediately begin to compromise their case. It seems that they are looking into terrorist activities and really have no interest in the dead girl. They even ask if she could have been prepping to be a terrorist herself. Mitch is getting more and more depressed and obsessed and nearly kills her sons. Meanwhile, Bennet is into something. He is becoming hostile. Also, the politics are suddenly down and dirty after Richmond attends a hearing concerning the woman who was drunk and killed his wife. This really puts an edge on things going into the next episode.

Warning: Spoilers
Review By Kamal K

I'm starting to feel like poor traumatized Mitch, who snapped at Detective Linden and told her to shove it with the apologies. Sing it, Mitch.

The FBI barge in and reveal that the mysterious Mohammad is a terrorist suspect (along with teacher Ahmed?), meaning this once small-scale mystery got even more bloated. And candidate Richmond, whose turn from moral superiority was inevitable but kind of abrupt, leaked the news that Mayor Adams kept a staffer as a mistress in a Seattle apartment.

Linden has been mostly competent, but when her case stalls she gets sloppy with evidence and breaks the rules by sneaking into an FBI evidence van. For her trouble she gets a healthy dose of cop clichés from her boss.

We need Linden to unravel, if only because she's the only one whose firm grasp on things holds any tension. I don't think she's gonna earn much forgiveness from her son or fiance Rick, but my money is still on her surviving with her sanity. What else are we watching for to find out if Richmond trades his soul for the mayorship? Don't they all? Is it to find Rosie's killer? It seems like ages since her murder felt vital and not a game of suspect Whack-a-Mole. I guess we could be holding on to find out if Stan and/or Mitch finally crack-but whether they sob or fight or recreate Rosie's pink bedroom, it all just feels sad.

Current murder suspect I'm not going to hop on the Mohammad bandwagon; I refuse to finger a character we haven't seen.

Question - Spoiler Alert I Guess
scottkursch12 March 2019
Warning: Spoilers
My only question is, why didn't the FEDS ever think to get a phone tap on Bennet ? Here they are essentially taking over the case making it a terrorist investigation and NO phone taps ? It's even being broadcasted on network television that Bennet is linked to the mosque, etc etc. So Holden's the one to get a wire tap ? He can get a phone tap but the FEDS can't. Stinkin FEDS. It's still an awesome Series and I have no beef at all except this one detail that hit me. I wasn't real happy about what Jack did either. I would make damn sure he never touches my laptop again. Obviously I'm getting into this. : )

Sarah and Stephen not getting along

Warning: Spoilers
Stephen was a drug addict. Sarah felt better about him after seeing him he's trying to stay clean. The T-shirt that they found in the meat store belong to Rosie.
