Tying up lose ends
kateatailslg12 July 2011
This episode not only ties up lose ends in Dwight's concerns about his Father and his death it also leaves a little room for the story to unravel just a little more later. It shows a bit more the relationship between Dwight and his Mom. The relationships and trust of other members of the police department are also given room to be tested and see what happens while working together. This episode also gave Memphis Beat a chance to see some of the beautiful sites in New Orleans which is where the show is actually filmed, but doubles as Memphis in close up shots. Usually the story lines cross or become intertwined but this time they were very separate but did not distract or become over powered with the other. This episode not only had the same occasional thread of mentioning Elvis in some way but also one of the main characters this time was an actual member of Elvis' Memphis Mafia that played a role of someone asking forgiveness and it turns out even he might know what he did. It could very well be his way of presenting the same thing to the many Elvis fans that have blamed him for a real death for years. As with everyone I have seen thus far - this is an episode worth watching.
