The beginning of a legendary career

I fell in love with Jackie, like so many others, when she sang as a contestant on America's Got Talent...just in total awe of her natural vocal gift, and endeared by her personality. For those who fell in love with her for the same reasons, this presentation will not disappoint. Flawlessly singing an array of songs from pop to Broadway to opera, and just kicking butt in all the genres covered, Jackie remains America's Sweetheart (but an amazingly talented sweetheart). The production values of the filming are top notch, and the setting at the Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, Florida at the time of day when day is turning into night just enhances the performance. I'm especially happy that the end credits list every musician and backup singer by name rather than just naming the orchestra and choirs. If you enjoyed watching Jackie on AGT...if you enjoy great music...this is a must watch. (I still can't get over the fact that she's just 11 years old)

Most profound setting and instrumentation ever for an 11-year-old!

Simply astounding and magical! Classical Crossover at its best! Sarah Brightman encouraged her and her parents to save her voice and preserve it, but gives us a treat for a good cause: a PBS fund-raiser! She has a great extended family that she loves and takes advice from and receives protection. Her pitch, phrasing, and emotion are astounding and as Davis Foster says, her work ethic is better than ours, yet takes time to just be a child! It's OK to lower Nessun Dorma a minor third, so she can give us a rich performance as a down payment toward good things to come! The duet with the legendary Barbra Streisand was simply magical, like what Natalie Cole did with her dad, the great Nat "King" Cole.

The location, the production values, the staging and the playlist were all excellent. And they HAD to be.

Considering the vocalist, everything had to be as perfect. There was not a false note anywhere, and after hearing and watching it to the end, I was struck by the thought that I had just seen the most perfect concert of my very long life.

Jackie's voice is crystal clear and can range from whisper-soft to full power all while being totally at ease. Her passion for each song is astounding, her pitch control is out of this world perfect. She employs such a broad array of vocal techniques many consider her voice to be a perfect Bel Canto voice. She sings with unbelievable ease and emotion. Her high notes float out so gently. She sings like no one else I've ever heard.

You truly owe it to yourself to watch this concert. By the time the concert ends, you will be totally convinced that hers is simply the best fully adult voice you have heard in your lifetime.
