Short intro to each spy or mission that leaves you wanting more info
JurijFedorov4 June 2022
It's about Allied spying during WW2. A gigantic topic that is endlessly engaging and fascinating. Whole books have been written about single people presented here. Yet this 50 min episode is what we get about mainly British WW2 spying. About 40 or so main spies are mentioned and their missions presented with a few words and war videos from WW2. You feel entertained and informed, but man you get desperate to find out more. We for example see photos of a very attractive female spy in USA. Her job was to sleep with politicians to seduce them into becoming pro war. A furious anti-war politician suddenly became fully pro war after she got her hook in him. That's fascinating, cool, entertaining. But then we move on to other cool spies doing cool work. A shame. Still, much of this spy work is still classified by MI-6 and CIA so much of it we just don't know much about hence why some stories are short. But then at least a doc or book can be made about each of these missions or single spies even if we don't know everything. The topic is deeper than presented here.

So, great intro to the topic. But it leaves you wanting more. It's an overview that flies through WW2 in a rapid pace. But other episodes present deeper looks at single spies.
