Warning: Spoilers
No Naitanui or McGovern for the Eagles, but Yeo, Shuey, Kelly and Cripps return, though a few likely to be underdone. No Buddy or Kennedy for the Swans. The Eagles lack of pressure visible early, especially against one of the elite kicking teams in the competition. McLean with a big contested mark and the first goal for Sydney. McDonald with back to back goals and the Eagles unable to even get it inside 50. West Coast scoreless in the 1st term, down 34. Heeney with a quality mark and still yet to miss on goal in 2022. Ryan still taking terrific contested grabs, despite the smashing, the score 50 to 0. Ryan gets a free-kick and kicks the Eagles first, Kennedy follows with a spinning goal. Heeney misses! Swans up 58 at the half. The Eagles play better in the 3rd, but make up little ground and Swans win comfortably by 63 points. Sydney were ahead in the hit-outs, +8 in clearances, with a lot more possession. Sydney with 36 more inside 50's and 17 inside 50 tackles, resulting in 16 more scoring shots. Heeney best afield, with 16 disposals, 4 contested marks, 6 tackles, 3 goals and 2 assists. Mills 28 disposals, 6 clearances, 8 inside 50's and 525 metres gained. Parker 26 disposals, 5 clearances, 6 inside 50's, 5 tackles, 2 goals and an assist. Ladhams, McLean and McDonald also among the Swans best.

3. (Syd) I. Heeney, 2. (Syd) C. Mills, 1. (Syd) L. Parker.
