All that was good in Season 1 has been lost
johnpindar20 January 2012
Season 1 was an essential part of my wife and my weekly viewing. The legal practice was set up in a shoe shop in a very rough neighbourhood. The great scenes were often when Harry was helping to sort out problems in the area. Another enjoyable aspect were the characters of Jenna the not-so-dumb blonde shoe salesperson and Malcolm the "student" lawyer.

We looked forward to the second season but found the legal practice had moved into an ordinary office in an ordinary area surrounded by ordinary fellow lawyers - and not a pair of ladies sling-backs in sight.

We'll give the new season a few more episodes but at the moment it's seems to have lost all the best aspects of the first series.

Great Opener- Harry's Law ****

Warning: Spoilers
Terrific beginner for the new season.

Harry and Tommy Jefferson have joined forces in a rather spacious law office.

Of course, the amity between the two will not last when Harry lands the case that Tommy wanted-defending a wealthy murderer. Harry, instead, may get what he deserves by being made to wait to see someone to become part of a major lawsuit.

The third part of tonight's trilogy deals with an artist attempting to get the picture back that he had sold 3 years before a major tragedy struck him. It was poignant with the way that part ended.

When focusing back on the murder trial, we get a great dynamic performance by Jean Smart as a miserable, vicious prosecuting attorney. The episode ends in a cliff-hanger with Smart really trying to destroy Harry. Can't wait for the continuation of this next week.
