The two reasons I heard about this programme being broadcast on Channel 5 (which is obvious) are because it is about the lives of lesbians getting together in one place, and because one of the stars would be a recent and favourite reality television star. The Candy Bar in Soho is London and the UK's premiere lesbian nightclub and bar for women who love aka gay women to gather, have fun, drink and mingle with each other. This series follows all the women who work at the nightclub, everything that goes on behind the scenes to make every night they open great fun for the punters, all the personal lives with individual employees and customers, and much more. One of the stars of the show, that I was mainly interested to see, is Candy Bar regular and former Big Brother 2010 housemate Shabby Eliot-Katchadourian, a lesbian herself and famous for wearing braces and her bowler hat, as before she is great viewing in this second reality show venture. It might have the mixed opinions from people, saying that this show is purely to see girls kissing and sometimes taking their clothes off, but it is quite an interesting documentary style programme that not only shows us this club, but also gives us an insight of what it's really like to be a lesbian. Good!
