I love how they focus on the plot, the core of this series, political drama plus dragon. This show is not one man/woman show. We can see young Rhaenyra with her insecurities about her position in the thrones because the realm and the King desire a male heir for the throne. She is witty, caring and quiet intelegent.
We have Matt Smith potraying Daemon Targaryen the Rogue Prince, the grey character, he is smart, he is sadist, he is arrogant. Attention seeker, but also a bit soft when it comes to Rhaenyra, despite she is the heir of the Irone Throne, the title he believes it belonges to him.
We have the cunning Otto Hightower and his daughter, the ambitious Lord Corlys, so yo know, every main character played their role well. Even the character is antagonis, but it written well so you really can enjoy the plot.
I just hope it doesn't end like GOT S8. One thing I hate about this is, no matter how good it is, 270 years later, it still Bran who sit on the Iron Throne because he has good stories to tell.
