Amateur unfunny home movie

Imagine you had a 40-year old unemployed third cousin with learning disabilities that never had a job or any friends, finding a VHS camera in a dumpster, and he got some people he found on Craigslist to shoot a comedy, but they didn't know how to act, none of them had an ounce of comedic talent and they started shooting the movie without a script or rough sketch on what the movie was going to be about. There you have this movie: The Gilbert Diaries. It's a mess.

I watched seemingly forever waiting for the some kind of surprise showing me that the beginning of the movie was just a weird dream, or some meta/satirical commentary of something (I don't know what), until it finally dawned on me that this WAS the movie.

However many minutes you manage to sit through, you will regret them all. Every single one.

This film was truly a genre we need more of funny entertaining and it's humor just was uplifting and light! The characters truly gave us lots of non stop laughter which we all need!! Ty for bringing laughter back again! 💗 I enjoyed the slapstick humor n writing and editing as well loved it! From beginning to the end..We need more lighthearted humor like this in tough times now.. kudos to the cast, crew and Director and Writer and Producer for bringing funny back to a world that takes themselves too seriously! I'd watch It again and again for the fact it did what it said it would....make me laugh.

One of the better comedy films I've seen so far this year. The main character Gilbert is super funny and as the film kept going you really grow to the liking of him as I started cheering for him in certain parts. There are some totally random moments but the plot still maintained a solid storyline had us glued to the screen right to the end. I thought the ending was fitting too and at the end of the day it's really just a feel good comedy flick. They don't make films like they used to so this one for sure is a winner. I hope this does get the recognition it deserves and I'm hoping for even a part 2. Please make it happen!

This was our long weekend movie and I didn't know what to expect but thankfully this didn't disappoint us one bit. Such a funny film with lots of plot twists and unique and hilarious characters as we follow Gilbert a happy go lucky type of guy embark on his daily adventures. Seriously funny and quirky dialogue with intense and funny situations that keeps the film entertaining for sure. If your looking for a laugh with a solid storyline then this is for you. This is easier one of the funniest films i've seen this year so far on Tubi. Well done to everyone involved, I highly recommend this! 9 stars.

My friday night movie

This is one of the more entertaining comedy films I've had the pleasure of watching this year. The protagonist, Gilbert, is incredibly amusing, and as the movie progressed, I found myself growing increasingly fond of him, even cheering him on at certain moments. The film features some utterly unexpected scenes, but it still manages to maintain a coherent storyline that kept us captivated until the final scene. I found the conclusion quite appropriate, and overall, it's a delightful comedy film that leaves you feeling good. It's a rarity to come across movies made with such flair these days, so this one undoubtedly stands out as a gem.
