IMO Harry and the two kids are the three actors that make the show. Not at all interested in the skier or the mayor and his wife. They add nothing. Not sure why the writers feel the need to include them at all unless they are abducted by aliens. Relief. The five stars are for this episode otherwise it's an eight with Harry and the kids deserving of tens. Okay, so I have to add more characters to this review.... More sy fi and less drama. Don't need to include the drama of a woman who has major issues and a weird married couple who never seem to care much about what their young son is up to. Love the cops. While the nurse is crazy she's fun to watch. Like the love between Asta and her dad.

Another OK episode with plenty of filler, not filling

Pretty much the only interesting, and crucially 'entertaining' thing in this episode is Harry. Some good laughs and lines delivered, but we need more. Less ski injury/bikkering mayor and wife carry on, more focus on the story.
The alien tracker angle is interesting but not sure it's going anywhere original or interesting, good to see the guy from lost out delivering again. Hope he's not written out like the ending implies. He's a great actor and there's interesting depth to be had there.
Not much else happened.
What's up with the terrible 'Sarah Connor' old lady angle? It's going nowhere and is pretty depressing to see her devote her skills to such a lacklustre role. Where's the respect?

The episode starts with General Eleanor McCallister finding out that the boy she is holding is in fact an alien. The alien sees Eleanor's memories as a child.
That story is then left hanging as it moves to Patience.
The mayor and his wife bicker over the plans of the new resort. D'Arcy is suffering with her painkiller addiction. Asta needs to get over her actual mother's rejection of her.
Harry Vanderspeigle meanwhile is the one playing cat and mouse. Renowned Alien Hunter Peter Bach is in town and spot's Harry in his alien form.
It makes you wonder why Harry did not do a better job hiding out from him.
Resident Alien is suffering as it is less about Harry and more to do with the residents of Patience. Frankly I'm not interested in their soapy storylines.

The story's somewhat like when at it's peak here, with the alien tracker played by the excellent Terry O'Quinn and Max, with no Sahar and Harry's humour. Though these days there's more secondary character scene time, a big negative. Obviously Dan already knew what Asta's mother was like. Here another tidbit about the illustrious Dan, he was in a band, right. D'Arcy instead of letting her boyfriend Elliot know what's going on, goes to tell Asta instead as usual. Just like Kate fighting an unnecessary war at home with Ben, for someone else's cause... yep.

I love this show I think it's really unique and original and some of the effects are really great. Although slightly disappointed with the reveal of the main enemies this series I've enjoyed how it's progressed and the story as a whole.
Whilst Harry I'd phenomenal and the kids are really great they do have some characters who work really well in small doses for bits of humour and filler in certain episodes there are others that really aren't good and even the focus is on them it takes the episode down from great to almost too dull to continue with.
Whilst the police 2, the people at the doctors and obviously Asta. But the three that really aren't entertaining are the mayor and his wife and also Darcy. The whole thing with the addiction and her childish attitude with relationships is so tedious because her character is so poorly built and her plots always seem forced just to flesh out quiet episodes.
Whilst the mayor is ok the wife is just an awful character, think she's also by far the weakest actor, the thing with building a resort is fine but she's beyond immature, supports and backs her husband, gets shown a bench and sides against her husband, that was childish and bad enough but then to take legal action and do it at their home? Truthfully the fact he took that just killed any credibility those two characters had left. Stupidly written and almost insulting that they believe people would act like this.
I'd rather less episodes but focused on the better bits that filling a great show with rubbish.

This show is becoming dumber and dumber. Too much filler and strange characters..I know it's a cartoon, but still pretty bad..Nothing makes sense. The actor playing the Mayor is bad and he looks like a teenager, much too young to be a Mayor. His relationship with his wife is dreadful. The wife is supposed to be a teacher? She never works. When ever there is a scene at the bar, no body ever pays. No money is ever exchanged!!! The two little kids are getting to be very annoying. In one episode they are at home with the baby sitter, and all of a sudden there at the house of Harrys in the middle of nowhere!!!! How did they get there???? So many inconsistencies. The two leading characters are friendly one minute and fighting the next, then friends again, then fight..Atra is supposed to work at the clinic but she's almost never there The actress Linda Hamilton is completely wasted. Have given up !!
