Good episode...

First off, this was by far one of the funnier episodes. When Harry has Pete(alien tracker) in his kitchen and chopping onions, eyes watering, I almost peed myself laughing so hard. The whole exchange was awesome.

"I got onion in my eye! Son of a bitch!" It delivered more laughs than any other since the earlier episodes.

It's going to be interesting to see what the rest of the message was, that Harry sent to himself...as Goliath...thru an alien baby...from 300 years in the future. Reading that aloud makes it sound like crazy talk.

As an added bonus, it looks like the resort storyline is dead, so hopefully that means we get less Ben & Kate. I don't hate them or dislike them, I just don't care. He lucked into the job, and married out of his league.

some forward movement but way to much 'girl talk'

So we get some movement with the whole bigger picture of the govt and aliens but it didn't really seem like a solid story arc, more playing around and filling time. There doesn't seem to be a bigger picture really, or at least not one worth telling.

Sad to see them kill off Pete, he is a great actor and his character had and interesting angle worth investigating but he was gone too gone and replaced by his son, who's not nearly as interesting or gifted.

Harry had a few comedy set ups that did pay dividends, the onion one was good as were a few other bits. This is where the success lies. Giving Harry enough space to do his thing.

Speaking of filling time, we got way to much d'Arcy, and her bestie and other bestie. Why would we be interested in these people? It was just padding.

Not a great episode, not nearly enough Harry humour. Way too much girly drama here, like do we really need D'Arcy's downtime. The military base scenes are pretty farcical too, like Peter's just going to give them an alien. Notice how nothing ever comes of anything, the show continuously meandering. Harry had the baby originally, the alien tracker comes and they work together to recover the baby, then Peter dies. A resort was going to be put up, Ben and Kate argue over it, now Ben doesn't want it anymore, blah. As for Peter in a flashback, you can't just have any actor, they have to be similar to him.

Opening with a flashback of Peter Bach from 28 years ago. When he and his wife were celebrating what would have been his son's second birthday before he got abducted by aliens.

In the present, Peter Bach the alien hunter is a prisoner in Harry's bunker, The game is up when Asta hearms in a baby monitor.

The leads to Peter and Harry talking about being a parent. Peter knows that General McCallister has his son inside a secret military base.

Harry takes alien form to help Peter get inside the military base and in a meeting with the General.

The episode was better with Harry and Peter teaming up. Leading to some emotional moments at the end.

It is the only bright light in a poor run of stories where most of the expanded cast are doing uninteresting things.

Cant believe still watching this stupid show..Keep hope its getting better, but its not. Too much padding and filler and the writing of most of the characters are ridiculous. The worse one is D'Arcy. Strange character.. Sometimes happy, the sad, then nothing She is supposed to work at the bar but she just drinks and talks to people. Does she make a living? No money or credit cards are used in any of the bar scenes. Are all drinks free?? The Sheriff and Deputy are also badly written. Don't they have time and days off?

Arsy sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. The Mayor and his wife are idiots and the actor playing the mayor looks like a kid. Bad casting. In one episode, Arsy father tells everyone in the cafe to clear out. No one pays the tab??? So many inconsistencies that are so apparent. I know its a cartoon, but too stupid.

The writers should have gotten together to make more sense out of the episodes and do a better job of developing the characters and making them less cartoonish.
