The entire "concept of zero" part makes absolutely no sense. I wish they would take on some kind of math/physics/science advisor who can proof read the scripts and remove malarkey like this. Or they could at least refrain themselves from incorporating any math related stuff in the plot. The episode depicts both Sheldon and doctor Sturgis as two completely clueless buffoons who lack even the most basic understanding of the very subject they have devoted their lives to.
As "The Big Bang Theory" before it, it came a long way, from an amusing TV show with realistic relatable characters to a concoction of bad sketches with no meaning, forced jokes that no one finds funny and very poor and cheap "growth" of the protagonist.
