I actually liked this episode despite quickly figuring out who the perpetrator was. When you don't offer many suspects, it makes the solution rather easy. The ending was great and I did not see that coming. Despite my earlier comment about liking series 1 more than series 2 (which is still how I feel), I'd like to see a third series. I like most of the main characters except for the garage mechanic. She is not a good actress, is constantly mugging with that silly grin, and I've yet to see a spot of grease on her, which is ridiculous. I'd like to see a bit more frivolity. What happened to the couple that owned the bar? They added to the fun group dynamic that was missing this season. Also please change the music especially the opening song.

Overall, a good finale to the second season with an interesting mystery and there was a heartbreaking story from Judith. Plus of course I love Jean and Dom - brilliant chemistry and good to see a slow-paced relationship on TV. However there were two things that really bugged me - (1) that tiresome, really annoying uber repetitive background music in some scenes (just the same few notes over and over and oooover...) and (2) I'd much prefer it if Charlie and Simone were sisters - there's already loads of couples / gay characters across the series, so it'd be more interesting with a different dynamic for the regular Madame Blanc community.

Judith Lloyd-James only gets her perfume from a very expensive and exclusive but empty perfumery called Ozanne.
It is run by twin brothers. However a raid by a man wearing a mask leaves Raffy Ozanne dead as the other brother Raimund went to make a phone call.
Raffy was worried about a gang carrying out similar raids at nearby Toulouse. These raids were getting closer.
The police suspect Cooper who earlier went into the shop to by some perfume. Later he wa found in possession of the mask, he claims that his dog dug it up.
A pretty flawed episode. A raid where very little seemingly was stolen and a man died because he had a rare breathing condition.
Cooper was an obvious red herring. The gang raid also. Were they really going to raid a perfumery for the smelly stuff. If it was so expensive, it would be taking credit card payments.
It looked obvious who the killer could be. The one who handily went upstairs and pretty soon a man entered the shop to rob.
Even the second season arc was all to conveniently dealt with.
