After Diane is targeted for assassination, Gibbs and Fornell both look at McGee and send Diane (ex wife of both) to stay with him for safety, it gets really funny and entertaining. Diane comes across as a real shrew and McGee tries his best to be diplomatic and stay noncommittal, but Diane is upset with her marital status and just needs a hug. McGee tries to resist, however, Diane guilt trips him into a hug, which ends up with them talking late into the night and falling asleep on the sofa together. Of course Gibbs and Fornell wake them up the next morning and give them grief for the rest of the show. Likely one of the funniest episodes ever! Maybe not really a 9/10...but I liked it!

Great development!

Not a huge amount of episode related storyline here, but the character development with Gibbs, Tobias and Diane gives hope for some really great storylines in the future. In particular, promoting Diane from mutual ex-wife and general script irritation to full IRS agent opens the door to the possibility of some really great three-way plots in the future. This makes even more sense if a production decision had been made to transfer the dramatic weight of the Abigail Borin character to NCIS: New Orleans. Although the segment was only a few seconds long, my feeling was that the scene in Abby's lab (with Abby, Gibbs and Diane) was one of the finest examples of comic timing I've seen in a long time. I found myself laughing several times during this episode - not much higher accolade!
Funny as hell!

NCIS Hasn't Lost a Step

Warning: Spoilers
Once again, the folks who produce NCIS show us why they still sit at the top of the pile in their tenth season. From the bottom to the top they still take chances, they still push the envelope and they still find ways to more intensely endear the characters we already love and provide new ones for us to adore as well.
Pretty amazing for a television show in it's tenth season to bring us the same- or even a higher- level of entertainment it did from the first show.
Diane Sterling, Gibbs and Fornell's ex wife returns a second time and the banter between the trio- Gibbs, Fornell and Diane is electric, quick, biting and funny, but it extends far beyond that. The ensemble manages to make everyone shine in this consistently hilarious episode. Followers of the show already know that the producers think in 'moments', and this episode is full of them, from the opening scene where we are reminded why Fornell is Gibbs FBI counterpart to be reckoned with to the closing scene that manages to collect a tear from those of us who love these folks so dearly.

Funny Episode Or One of Them!

Warning: Spoilers
Really a funny episode where Gibbs & Fornell are with their ex-wife Diane now an IRS agent as she is now married to a DHS agent. And he is missing. Much to both men's dismay.
As you have to throw in Tim McGee in the mix. As the men are not fond of their ex-wife as they three have to work together. Diane has some disdain for Fornell but she is kind of fond for Gibbs.
While they continue to constantly bicker and argue on a professional and personal level. Really a funny episode out of the usual case of the week thing, not that we NCIS fans mind.
But still it is a change of pace to see all three, as the second "devil" episode title with Diane being the you know what. Really Diane hopefully will still become a recurring character and charm or annoy her two ex-husbands whenever she is on.
Really don't find her annoying anymore!

This is an all time favorite!
*Diane Gibbs Fornel Sterling never disappoints!
I would love to see Diane have her own show.
Love love the banter between Gibbs and FBI Fornel.
Only cringe inducing moments of any episode, from pilot to present day, is being subjected to most any cast member under age of 21 and the disrespectful dialogue with any one of authority or say something to make the adult look ignorant or foolish; eg. the less than charming Miss Fornel. WTH?
Notwithstanding those distractions, Brilliant episode!
Laughed so hard!

As a long-term NCIS watcher, a big fan, I've been going back through older episodes from the beginning. And this episode just had me laughing so hard...I can't believe how hard. The connections between Fornell, Gibbs and therir ex-wife!! Wow. I'm not going to put any spoilers in this. Be prepared to laugh a lot.
A lor of nonverbal highlights. Abby and McGee watching Gibbs and Fornell arguing about where their ex-wife is going to sleep that night. Again two guys having a conversation with you twice in front of Vance and they discover something totally unexpected. And then the conversation that she has with McGee in his apartment. The next morning: priceless.

Okay, but not great

Interesting plot, and the mastermind of the main caper was a surprise. But the sub plot between the three ex's wasn't that interesting. A little humorous at times, but not enough to overcome all of the negative comments Gibbs and Fornell have exchanged about Diane over the years. Fornell and Diane have been divorced for something like 8 or 9 years, yet he still has jealous feelings for her, even though she has already remarried? More like possessive/obsessive feelings actually, much of it aimed at McGee. All in all this trifecta wasn't worth more than 7 stars.
My daughter found another goof

Warning: Spoilers
In the scene where Gibbs, McGee, Tony and Tobias enter into the rental where they found a frozen body, there is an arm of a 5th person wearing a t-shirt in the scene as Gibbs and Tobias are called into the room by McGee. It's in the mid to lower left of the screen.
Diane Is Annoying

I don't understand what other viewers see in the Diane character (ex-wife of Gibbs and Fornell). This show is the only show that I've watched an ex-wife or character such as herself be so disrespectful and do so many illegal things and gets away with it. This episode's plot could have been written without her being involved.
