This is an hour & 38 minutes of my life I can't get back. Opening scenes with bikini clad ladies & hot looking photographer is about the ONLY believable scene....and then the "leading man" takes over. Dialog & most of the action scenes looked so fake I do believe 2 year oldscould have done better. The one action scene that was good was the sword fight at end. Oh, and Mr. Lockhart's "death" scene, well, first of all his head was in 3-5 different places, depending on camera's angle & he also was blinking his eyes in a couple. If I could, I would give it a negative 10 but sword fight was good so a 1 for that.

Indie fantasy dud

Warning: Spoilers
LOCKHART: UNLEASHING THE TALISMAN is some indie fantasy trash that plays out like a liberal's dream. The story is about a magical talisman with the power to provide limitless energy thus solving one of mankind's biggest problems. It falls into the hands of a guy who must learn to cope with the power and the danger it brings. This sounds all very well in theory but in practice it's a padded-out dud lacking an interesting script and full of lacklustre acting. Instead of getting on with the storytelling, this is full of padding with bikini girls prancing around and music video stylistics. What the point of it all is I have absolutely no idea.
A mess. I loved it

This movie was garbage, I love it. To its credit, the animated sections were probably the most interesting part of the entire thing; it's also worth noting that the lead actors were arguably the weakest of the bunch.
I also found two inconsistencies that had me scratching my head (most of the movie had me scratching my head to be fair.£
Robert the Bruce died in 1329, so I'm glad they magically found a way to revive him and keep him ALMOST dead instead in 1330. Or they just got the date wrong.
Also, they said the tree was 1300 years old, and yet had been around since the crusades. The math doesn't add up there, you'd think a time period important to the main character's family history would be better planned out.

I loved it! Fantastic story. I could tell a lot of "heart," sweat, and hard labor went into this movie: Impressive fight choreography, a personal and family story interwoven with history, a romantic back story, and a historical and social-political context with the NWO and the Illuminati. The Operation Flourish warmed my heart. and BASED ON A TRUE STORY?!?! I am also inspired by Lockhart and the story of how this film was made. There has got to be a follow up to this movie. What will happen next!
Great story

I really enjoyed what the filmmakers were able to created on a limited budget. I can tell a lot of passion and effort went into this project and the filmmakers were able to create a compelling story. The actors also did a phenomenal job. I can't wait to see what they do for part 2.
