Pretty Good Effort
Hitchcoc24 October 2021
When the guys are forced through a contract obligation to try to do something to get girls into the sciences, they end up at Howard's former junior high. Their presentations are ridiculous and the young women are pretty hilarious in their reactions. Leonard is especially bad, trying to be uplifting and exciting. The other plot element has Raj meeting Lucy and it's just not very funny. I do get a kick out of her because I saw her in Garfunkel and Oates and as that strange girl in Scrubs. Oh, I didn't mention the trip to Disneyland which is pretty good.

"The Contractual Obligation Implementation" was another brilliantly hilarious ep of "The Big Bang Theory"

In this ep of "The Big Bang Theory": Leonard reluctantly gets Sheldon and Howard to talk to some female middle school students about choosing science and math as career options. Howard uses his celebrity influence (he's an astronaut, remember?) to pick his alma mater. Meanwhile, Raj joins Penny, Amy, and Bernadette for girls night out to talk about where to take Lucy for a date. Disneyland is one of the suggestions but Raj rejects that though that does give the women an idea to play hooky and go themselves. Raj eventually takes Lucy to the library for lunch where they text each other. I'll stop there and just say this was another hilarious ep with some great touching moments concerning Raj and Lucy. So on that note, "The Contractual Obligation Implementation" was another great edition of "The Big Bang Theory".

Warning: Spoilers
Science for Middle School girls turns into normal Sheldon, emotionally unstable Leonard and Howard being compared to a pilot. The girls where off in their own world for small little scenes but got the most laughs from me with the one liners and the absurdity of them all as princess. Raj on his date with Lucy was just horrible between the texting and these two characters with their issues coming to date. The men introducing science to younger girls was very bad at times but I did get a chuckle which isn't really saying much. Nothing else really to talk about other then saying the women on the show are so much better and should be more focused on then the men as the women get all the funny lines especially when they are all together.

EPISODE GRADE: C (MVP: Melissa Rauch)

The Contractual Obligation Implementation

This show seems to be trying to accommodate the fact that the cast has grown by now trying to tell three stories an episode.

Unfortunately when you do that the quality needs to be tight across all of the three, and that doesn't prove to be the case here.

I didn't think the plot with the girls worked, or the one with Leonard, Howard and Sheldon trying to teach at a school. This one was actually pretty cringy and quite light in terms of laughs.

The only one that works for me is the one involving Raj, and I like the little arc they had had his character play out in this sixth series.

Overall, much like this whole sitcom itself, this is good in moments, not in others.
