The Chance family tackles some music when Bert becomes a fake Jew when his parents want to make some money. The actors on the show are not the greatest singers in the world (Martha Plimpton is a great singer who was wasted with no real solo) but the songs they were given were funny making for an enjoyable episode of Raising Hope. Garret Dillahunt was funny throughout the episode and the actors as his parents (Shirley Jones and Lee Majors make their return to the show). Once again the musical numbers were great and funny especially the one where Jimmy took the lead and they did feel real since other characters questioned the musical numbers that happened. The Jewish thing being a scheme was unexpected but I did like that it was unexpected.
