Great update to classic story

Fascinating plot, a lot of visual details to enjoy which you will have to watch it several times. Recognizable style of the Russian animation school.

The history of the confrontation between Pinocchio and Karabas-Barabas continues in modern Moscow. The former owner of the puppet theater, having changed his name to the respectable "Mr. Baskara", opens a factory for the production of toys. Mr. Baskara's conveyor produces only two types of standard toys: for boys it is a robot Toothpick, and for girls it is a Glamushka doll. The raw materials for the production of new products are old toys of all kinds and shapes. Baskara, with the help of Maredur (the former Duremar), opens a real hunt for toys. The surviving exiles are hiding from the net Maredura in the dungeon. Only a few of them risk appearing on the surface.

I think this movie is cute

When I watched the movie, I found it fascinating and very good. I honestly think its cute and the plot is very interesting. It gives me remembrance of when I used to watch cartoons in the DVD player built into the family van as a toddler(even though I don't remember watching it as a toddler).

I can understand what is going on even though I cant understand the language. I wish it was released here in the US. If I ever have a niece or nephew in the future I will definitely show them this. The ending is very fun too. This movie really makes the child in me smile. I would definitely recommend watching.
