Very rare stuff from French TV industry, taking place in the deep France, back in the eighteenth century, a strange story, eerie, a bit fascinating about a stranger arriving in a small town and suspected by the local folks to be a sorcerer, someone evil. A scheme not that unusual but in the American way instead of the French. This story was shot on locations, in a remote village, hamlet, in the Larzac wilderness. Mountains and landscapes. Special atmosphere where characters analysis is everywhere, the villagers behavior towards this stranger. Destined to home audiences, and a rare gem. It's worth the watch.
