Charlie Hunnam is set to make a return to series television. The former Sons of Anarchy star is set to play the lead in Prime Video’s highly anticipated Criminal, which is based on a series of graphic novels by Ed Brubaker. The series returns Hunnam to the world of organized crime, a genre that’s paid nice dividends for him in between Sons of Anarchy and The Gentlemen. According to Deadline, Hunnam is set to play the lead, “Leo, a brilliant master thief who sees all the angles, and specializes in plans with no guns and no violence. Like a chess player, Leo thinks three moves ahead. Other crooks think he’s a coward, especially compared to his father Tommy, who went to jail for murdering the most feared man in the city, Teeg Lawless.”

You asked, and Jacob Anderson and Sam Reid answered. So did Delainey Hayles, Eric Bogosian, and Assad Zaman! In TV Insider’s exclusive interview (embedded above), the stars of AMC‘s Interview With the Vampire Season 2 answer fan questions submitted to us on social media. One question on many fans’ minds were what songs the cast would use to describe their character’s arcs this season. For Anderson, Taylor Swift‘s “Anti-Hero” rings true. For Reid, it’s Fiona Apple‘s “Criminal.” Bogosian and Hayles can’t help but laugh at their answers, “Walk on the Wild Side” by Lou Reed and “Livin’ in the Sunlight, Lovin’ in the Moonlight” by Maurice Chavalier. (Dive back into Zaman’s fan questions video here.) Another big question: What surprised the cast most about this season? Their answers above indicate the twists baked into Part 2 of this adaptation, brought to life by showrunner...

Paramount has rebooted Criminal Minds, and starting in November 2022, we were once again immersed in the story of the Behavioral Analysis Unit (Bau) agents as they grappled with criminal minds and personal lives. Now, the story has taken an even darker turn, it has been released in a streaming format rather than the traditional TV broadcast one, and the show itself has been subtitled as Evolution. And before we knew it, a new season was already in production (the second season of Evolution and the seventeenth since Criminal Minds premiered on CBS in 2005).
While fans wait in anticipation, the upcoming Season 17 has already had its fair share of details and speculation. Josh Stewart, who has played Will Lamontagne Jr. since Season 2, will be leaving the show, while many are sure that everyone's favorite Spencer Reid will be back, as Matthew Gray Gubler's schedule has finally been cleared, and the...

The Walking Dead maker Skybound Entertainment is pushing into the unscripted game.
The firm has hired ex-Catalina Content exec Brent Jacoby to head up the new division, which will tap into pre-existing Skybound IP such as AMC smash The Walking Dead and Amazon Prime Video’s Invincible.
Jacoby will be focused on quickly expanding the global unscripted TV slate, although Skybound didn’t delve any deeper into his strategy. He joins at the same time as former MGM TV VP Chris Goble, who takes up the newly-created SVP of Television role. Both will report to TV President Glenn Geller.

Variety reports that the “Desperate Housewives” actress is joining the Season 2 cast of Paramount+’s serialized revival of the long-running CBS crime procedural.
Huffman will guest star as Dr. Jill Gideon. Gideon is described as “a brilliant biological psychiatrist.” She’s the ex-wife of Jason Gideon (Mandy Patinkin), the former leader of the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit. She has a complicated history with her late ex-husband and his Bau successor David Rossi (Joe Mantegna), which makes her reluctant to get involved with the team’s investigation into the murderous and mysterious Gold Star conspiracy. Though she agrees to help the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit investigate a murderous conspiracy theory, Jill is reluctant to return to the bureau’s elite team given her complicated history. How much pain can one person take?
When it comes to Hank Voight, Chicago Pd pushes the limits, subjecting the man to so much pain and heartbreak and dooming him with what feels like a lifetime of loneliness.
There's a darkness to the series that hasn't let up, and Chicago Pd Season 11 Episode 7 was one of the darkest installments to date.
Whoever this serial killer is, may he believe in a God that has mercy on his soul because Hank Voight is coming for him.
And the last thing on Voight's mind is "mercy."
By the end of the hour, with that slick closeup of Jason Beghe, with a dark shadow cast over him and darkness in his eyes, it's evident that Voight has potentially reached a point of no return.
It felt like we watched this man break in real-time.
A sea of emotions overtook him as he stared...

Three weeks after Law & Order bid farewell to Sam Waterston, the NBC procedural on Thursday introduced Tony Goldwyn as the newest District Attorney.
Usually, the legal part of the drama doesn’t happen until later in the episode, but Goldwyn’s Nicholas Baxter joined the action at the top of the hour as Detectives Jalen Shaw (Mehcad Brooks) and Vincent Riley (Reid Scott) are investigating the bludgeoning death of multi-millionaire Jonah Barlowe.
Baxter explains his sudden appearance by saying the sight of the “swirling lights” got him excited and that he “hasn’t been at crime scene in over 30 years. I couldn’t help myself.”
He lingers at the scene for only a few seconds before telling the detectives that “I’ll do everything in my power to create a constructive and transparent relationship with the police. That’s it.”

The seventh episode of Criminal Record left the present aside and jumped into the past in 2011, six months before the Adelaide Burrowes murder case. The Sixty Twos were talked about a lot, and it was clear that Hegarty, Kim, and Tony were part of this gang, but who played what part in the Errol Mathis case wasn’t that clear. Now we have a clear picture of what happened. We have to keep in mind that we are being told things from Hegarty’s point of view, as he is revealing his story to Lenker, and there may be a part of this story that is hidden from us.
Spoilers Ahead
What Was Hegarty’s Life Like Back In 2011?
Hegarty is a mystery wrapped up in an enigma. He sometimes behaves as if he is a racist of the first order, trying to protect Tony and hiding his affiliations with the alt-right groups.

Criminal Minds star Paget Brewster was looking like a mainstay on the series before her departure in season seven. The actor once set the record straight on the real reason she left the series.
How Paget Brewster came back to ‘Criminal’ Minds’ Paget Brewster | Neil Jacobs/Getty Images
At the time, many were surprised by Brewster’s exit from Criminal Minds. She was brought on board the team during the show’s second season as agent Emily Prentiss. Brewster seemed poised to become as much of a constant presence on the show as Shemar Moore and some of the other co-stars. But she, along with her Criminal Minds co-star A.J. Cook, were let go from the show.
Speaking with Assignment X, Brewster confided that those behind the series simply wanted to shake up the show. They felt reducing Brewster’s role would’ve added some spontaneity, which Brewster felt was a mistake.

Kevin Costner has a new movie passion project, and it’s set to shoot at the start of 2025: more on the film here.
Busy, busy times in the filmmaking life of Kevin Costner. After taking several years away from the big screen to pursue the TV series Yellowstone – with the exception of impressive big screen thriller Let Him Go in 2020 – he’s now got several movies on the go.
Two of them are already shot: the opening two parts of the planned four movie western saga Horizon. Whilst we don’t have UK release details, the two Horizon: An American Saga films that are pretty much completed will be released this summer. The plan is for four films, but as was revealed a few weeks ago, the funding isn’t quite in place for films three and four.
Kevin Costner has co-written the films. He also directs and stars.

Despite no longer being a part of Yellowstone’s next season, Kevin Costner seems to be busier than ever. First up, he’s got a two-part Western epic called Horizon: An American Saga that’s coming out this summer, and now, Deadline is reporting that the actor’s got another “longtime passion project” ready to roll. While there are no specifics on what it may be, Costner is set to produce and star in the untitled film, with the director of his 2016 thriller Criminal, Ariel Vromen, at the helm.
In the article, no specifics are given, although Costner has been open about certain long-planned projects in the past. One is his book, The Explorer’s Guild, which he wrote with his Horizon collaborator Jon Baird and was called an Indiana Jones-style globetrotting adventure. Back in Die Hard 2, John McClane uttered the legendary line: “How could the same shit happen to the same guy twice?” Foiling one terrorist plot is something – but getting tangled up in a second one? That’s seriously bad luck. Well, Idris Elba’s Sam Nelson is about to find himself in McClane mode: after navigating a high-stakes plane hijacking in Apple TV+’s Hijack, he’s going to be taking on another suspenseful situation in an upcoming Season 2. The streamer has confirmed that the show will be back for more, with Elba returning too.
Little is known about what the next season will entail. Will Nelson somehow find himself on another hijacked plane? Will it be another mode of transport altogether? Or will it sidestep the whole hijacking thing, and simply pit him in another generally hostage-based negotiation? Whatever it entails, Elba promises more excitement to come. “I...
