This is a thing. This is a music video that exists. This is one of the scariest music videos I have ever seen. Daft. Fricking. Punk.

Wow.

IDOLATOR: One of Five Groundbreaking Music Videos from Daft Punk

"The Prime Time of Your Life" (2006): From what is generally considered Daft Punk's most challenging album, Human After All, comes this unsettling, almost Twilight Zone-ish video. With the feel of a 1980s horror movie on glitchy VHS (a motif that would continue throughout the album's other videos, including "Robot Rock" and "Technologic") "Prime Time" soundtracks the nightmarish thoughts of a young girl seemingly alone in a world of animated skeletons. There's a twist ending that makes the whole clip even more disturbing, making it one of Daft Punk's most mesmerizing and thought-provoking videos.

Warning: Spoilers
Daft Punk's The Prime Time of Your Life: Sometimes blood and gore has a serious side, and this 2005 video has a message about body image, and also features some pretty full-on skin-ripping, so be warned. (Justin Myers)
