Frem vs Adel, at Optus Stadium.

Warning: Spoilers
Fremantle come in 2-0, Adelaide 0-2 in need of a win. Keays kicks the opener for the Crows after Rachele almost messed it up. Switkowski misses from right in front, McHenry with a nice goal on the angle. The Crows transition defense not looking too flash, Freo not capitalizing though, Adelaide up by 3 at quarter-time. A very unpolished game, in perfect conditions, both teams really struggling. Walker and Fogarty can't pressure and Adelaide just can't seem to cover the ground. They're lucky to be in it, with the ball living in Freo's forward 50, the Dockers up 8 at the half. Draper looking at ease in the backline for Fremantle in his second game, Sholl with an excellent goal. Switkowski again messes up running into open goal. The Dockers plenty wasteful, but still take a 10-point lead into 3-quarter time. Adelaide woeful, kicking just 4 goals for the match, Freo home by 35 points. The Crows dominated the hit-outs, but Freo +3 in clearances and had more of the footy, with 20 more tackles applied. The Dockers had 8 more inside 50's, for 9 more scoring shots, with neither team converting. Young clearly best afield, with 32 disposals, 8 clearances, 7 inside 50's, 7 tackles, 5 intercepts, 661 metres gained and an assist. Ryan 27 disposals, 9 intercepts and 742 metres gained. Serong 28 disposals, 6 tackles, 5 intercepts and 567 metres gained.

3. (Frem) H. Young, 2. (Frem) L. Ryan, 1. (Frem) C. Serong.
