Humanity over nature

The short is beautiful and complex. It is not for everyone but the concept is fantastic. The short begins with the sun and few animals (mainly ants and spiders building nests) and then transitions into a stone mine. At first glance we just see the workers cutting and cutting but as the camera moves ever so slightly we discover a colosal stone monument that defies the laws of physics and yet it exists.

This monument signifies the way mankind is reshaping the world. What once was a place filled with just stone is now the foundations of a city, a temple, a culture in itself. Mankind has rewritten the rules and given new meaning to that space where the sun shone above.
