I loved this show

A great insight into the world of professional wrestling and the drama involved in running a business built around it. I loved getting to know the people involved in the NWA at both character and personal perspectives and I'm definitely a new fan.

The show also goes behind the scenes of The World is a Vampire tour, a collaboration of wrestling and rock, headlined by the Smashing Pumpkins, and provides us a glimpse into the logistics involved in such a complex event and how Billy navigates his family life around it.

A highly engaging show with an excellent soundtrack driven predominantly by the amazing Atum album.

Fingers crossed we get a second season!

I wasn't super interested in NWA, but after watching this reality show, I can't wait to go to a live event. Wrestling wasn't very big where I grew up, but I can see why people like it. What I enjoyed most was seeing what goes on behind the scenes to create this type of entertainment and have gained a whole new perspective. Even though the decisions about who wins, how wrestlers go out are pre-planned by the owners of NWA, this series highlights all of the talent and creativity involved in making those decisions. I've always heard people discrediting wrestling because it's "fake," but that's not what wrestling is about. It's a complete spectacle with drama, character development, insane athleticism, and an incredible amount of passion. I totally get that wrestling isn't for everyone, but after watching this series, it's definitely for me.
