Great Time Lapse Work

This was a great film, the cinematography is excellent. I saw it on Netflix and one of the best parts was the sound scoring. The sound score/track is one of the most important part of this series and it really draws you in and puts a lot of passion into Louie's work.

Sadly, when I purchased the blu-ray version of the series all the sound tracks/scoring was different!!!

The series IS NOT the same with the sound scoring used on the blu-ray discs (don't buy them!!).

I'm very disappointed, so if you want to see this, see it on Netflix. I have no idea why there is a difference but the blu-ray scoring completely ruins the experience by using different sound scores.

A stunning view of nature, to calm the soul and the minds of humankind

Stunning cinematography,I wish I was that camera person, what a lucky human being to have taken and captured this journey ...a beautiful viewing experience.wonderful photography capturing the beauty and magnificence of mother nature. People should watch this to calm their minds and hearts . The world is too often portrayed as a frightening and hopeless place. I have visited Big Basin in California, I have hugged the biggest tree on the planet and shed a tear. We forget natures calming strength and beauty . I intend to visit the forest again soon . Prehistoric beauty encapsulated in this film . A joy for all , you need a little bit of peaceful meditation, a moment of calm? Dip into this reminder of the world outside of the city.

So calming it puts my kid to sleep

I absolutely love this series on Netflix. I can't tell you how many times I have used it to calm my 2 year old so he can sleep. The cinematography is incredible and the music is beautiful! 10 out of 10 from this mama!!!!

I, too, saw this on Netflix. My dream is to travel to Washington State to Olympic National Park, so seeing Forests on Netflix was like a dream come true. The music on Netflix is incredible, and really sets the mood for the visuals. I often play the Netflix version at home while doing housework, just to listen to the music. So, this Christmas, my husband bought me the blu-ray. We are both very disappointed. The music on Forests is absolutely not the same as what is on Netflix and it broke my heart. Granted, the scenery is still beautiful, but it is definitely NOT the same feeling as the Netflix version gives you. I have not returned it or even attempted to because my husband tried so hard to give me a gift that was meaningful and heartfelt. I have to hide how disappointed I am. But, I am truly heartbroken that the music is not the same.
