Formalized, Complex, and Costly -- the episode title perfectly describes this season so far.
It feels like this season is trying to repeat the success of season 2 by using the same format of intense scenes and plot twists at the end of every episode. The problem is, not much of significance has happened so far. When something big does happen, it feels like it is purely for shock value. I'm sure it isn't, but the point is that they're not pulling off the feel they want. Instead of recapturing the magic of last season, they have made something overly complex and formalized yet far more hollow. I still have faith that it will make an upswing, but this was not the best of episodes. It wasn't bad, it's just missing the spark of the last season. There are some story lines that I'm enjoying. I absolutely love Alison's current story. But I still need to see more of Paul. He was barely in last season. When we found out he was a high ranking official at Castor, I thought that would finally change. But it didn't. We still see him barely at all.

Brothers and Sisters!?

Warning: Spoilers
This episode begins with Sarah and Felix, they moved Seth's body into the bath thub. Art sees Seth his dead body in the bath tub. Sarah discovered that Helena is pregnant from Hank. Meanwhile Paul joined Castor. Art tells to Sarah that he had an affair with Beth. Sarah found Gracie at the restaurant. Cosima tells Sarah that the boy clones are brothers of the sister clones. Sarah tells Mark that he is her brother. Mark got shot down by Bonnie. Nice Episode of Orphan Black Season 3, what a reveal: Castor and Leda are family. What will this mean for the further story?

Jelly complex in the field, highly instructing in the lab!

Warning: Spoilers
I didn't like the clones/brothers, but that didn't mean to have them blown up! An average episode with good acting, but missing the magic of Maslany clones and any thrill that the last two seasons brought us. It became an episode by episode sort of average-complex set of scenes where people happily stroll around and take lives. I'm not against it if it serves a purpose to the series; so far it looks like simple agenda revenge.

Liked Cosima and her indispensable lab partner though; refreshing and injecting much needed science to the series, which I love.

The clone family is still growing
SJulien1214 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The episode begins with some very applied biology as Cosima and Scott retrieve Seth's brain. It is also the return of Art who, by sending his love for Beth, decides to really get involved in the stories of Sarah and her sisters. Mark is the only male clone who seems okay, but the end of the episode doesn't bode well for him. Two details that I liked are the fact that Delphine makes Rachel disappear with the same plane crash excuse as Leekie and Alison's famous "Go sell a house Marci". The revelation that the Castors and Leda are siblings promises to spice things up. And even if the storylines seem a bit disjointed at the moment, I assure you that their implementation will pay off in the second half of the season.
