Big anaconda, Big butt and im a bad girl: you know that kind of song

Yeah Nicki Minaj: we saw your big butt dont worry. The lyrics are pretty explicit and its clearly sexual and related to sex and the visuals too. If you are into that kind of music and clip. Go for it. Its purely Nicki Minaj's song.

Nicki Minaj has a big bad ass

Warning: Spoilers
And she wants you to know. This is "Anaconda", the music video of the singer's successful 2014 single release. The director is prolific music video director Colin Tilley. I got curious about it as it won a major award recently at the MTV Video Music Awards and all I can say is the following: This video is crap. The song is rubbish. The lyrics are a mess. And Nicki Minaj does not offer the slightest bit of talent in here. It's no quality singing or rapping in here. It's basically just a couple explicit camera shots (eating a banana lusciously), followed by a lapdance to the "incredibly talented" Drake. What a mess this music video was. If this is winning any awards at all, this is really perfect proof of how much the hip hop genre sucks right now. Absolutely not recommended.

Do you get it?

If you want to understand why this song and video is genius just watch Booty by Jennifer Lopez which was released a month later. Where J Lo absolutely fails and looks try hard and pathetic, Nicki shines with a cheeky sense of humour and self awareness.

Enjoyable music video

Now I know someone is definelty gonna hate on me for saying this stuff, but Nicki Minaj's Anaconda is a landmark music video of the mid-2010s. The video, based on Minaj's hit sample of "Baby got Back", proves to be quite the mini-movie as it showcases impressive transitions and filming techniques that will immediately transport the viewer to the jungle setting of the video. This was coming from a time where Nicki was stating she would move away from the pop-rap direction of Super Bass and Starships in favor of more traditional hip-hop, and it certainly shows as the song exemplifies several characteristics of hip-hop such as it's use of sampling and the lyrical content, made fresh by Nicki's unique flow.

In conclusion while certainly not for the family, is still a must watch for music enthusiasts everywhere.
