Nifty behind the scenes doc

This 30-minute documentary covers a lot of interesting and informative ground on the various monsters featured in the fright film "Digging Up the Marrow." Writer/director Adam Green talks about how he got the idea for the story from a detailed package he received from a fan telling him that the Victor Crowley character in "Hatchet" was a real person. Illustrator Alex Pardee discusses his artwork which was used as the basis for all the creatures in the movie. Sculptor Greg Aronowitz points out that he closely followed Pardee's illustrations as much as he could. Moreover, we also learn that the Chicken monster ran across a track, the Vance creature was patterned after meth addicts who are missing their lower jaw, the monster Harlequin went through many designs, and springs were used to make the arms for the Blossom creature sprout out. Worth a watch for fans of the film.
