Great movie to pass time
coolestgalhere24 September 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Days of tafree proved to be a better movie than i anticipated. The story is about college life of 4 boys. It shows life of students in Delhi. Having fun in campus and partying all night. The movie starts with one of the boys getting hit by a car and then the whole movie is in flashback. The story line is very simple and execution is really good. All the characters are very well represented. There were a few punch lines but at some places it was forced comedy. Its a must watch for all those final year college students and the ones who just graduated. The end is really emotional and you will not come out of the theater without a tear or two in your eyes. Do go watch this movie and re-live your college days.

An amazing roller-coaster ride!

Warning: Spoilers
This is a movie which packs a punch! It revolves around a group of friends who relive their college days and remember all the pranks that they did.The main group consist of four friends, Vicky,Nikhil,Suresh and Daljeet.Vicky(Ansh Bagri) who is the main protagonist is a mischief loving boy, who is supported by his friends Suresh(Sanchay Goswami), Nikhil(Yash Soni) and Daljeet(Sarabjeet Bindra).it is the last year of their college and they enjoy it to the fullest by playing pranks on teachers and living up the college life. This movie is an remake of the widely successful Gujarati film, Chhello Divas which is directed by the same director, Krishnadev Yagnik and he has done a terrific job in making a hilarious film that makes you remember your college days and makes you feel nostalgic about it. Cinetography is great and there are some moments in the film which makes us cry as well as smile. The pace of the film is perfect and you won't even notice when the interval comes. There are less songs in this film when compared to other Bollywood films, but all the songs are soft and soothing and leave a lasting memory. Ansh Bagri plays a terrific role and fits in perfectly. Also the supporting cast is great. Overall this film is a must watch with your friends if you are in college or want to relive your college life.

A true delight

Just finished watching Tafree! This is by far the best movie based on college drama and friendship in this era. Very well written and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik. The story keeps you fixated throughout. There is not a moment it questions you why your watching the film. It revolves around the life of seven college students, the friendship they share and their lives. It rightly depicts how things actually happen in college. It takes you back to college life and down the memory lane, from jokes to events, from fights to friendships, from breakups to relationships, it is a blend of both humour and emotions. Keeps you laughing most of the time, and when the emotions hit you, they hit right through. The characters are very well executed by the cast, specially 'Dilgit' was fun to watch. It's just the right amount of drama and a very honest approach in making the movie a true college story and they have succeeded in doing so. Overall a very cute, honest, funny(very funny) and a heart touching movie. Kudos to the team. A great watch for everyone & I must say a must for college students.

Days of Tafree
nanditasajeev24 September 2016
'Days of Tafree' written and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik is a movie which takes us back to the good old college days and makes us want to relive those golden days.It is an official remake of the Gujarati film 'Chello Divas'. The story revolves around the lives of seven friends in the last year of their college. It comes with the tag line 'In class or out class'.

Among the seven friends,Vicky (Ansh Bagri) is a carefree, funny, and happy go lucky guy who finds great pleasure in annoying the people around him and also happens to be suffering with verbal diarrhoea. Nikhil (Yash Soni) plays the role of a sweet, responsible and smart guy who is deeply in love with Pooja (Nimisha Mehta). Suresh is the dope guy who is always made fun of for his looks and the the fact that he hasn't gotten himself a girl since the past 3 years. He is considered as the loser.Daljeet aka Dhulla is the macho guy who never lies or smiles and talks very occasionally but his presence lightens up the atmosphere.

The movie is not very appealing. It lacks depth and a strong plot. The humor is dry and flat. The scene between Pooja and Nikhil on the 'Guns and roses' day where he tries to propose to her and the 'Coffee scene' where a girl breaks up with her boyfriend over ordering a coffee are impractical and pointless. The dialogues were below par.You might think that the music makes up for the dull plot but that doesn't not happen either. There is nothing to keep the viewer hooked on and you attimes end up forgetting the names of the characters. The first half of the movie is chucklesome but the second half feels dragged making the movie too lengthy and boring.

However the cinematography is applaudable and so are the performances of the newbies. The romance between Nikhil and Pooja is beyond cute and could be one of the reasons for one to be hooked on to the movie. Dulha, the serious guy takes the audience by surprise with his unusual love towards Isha(Anuradha Mukharjee)

Overall, the movie cannot be termed as a 'must watch'.It is a timepass movie and one need not bother spending their time and money on it and is certainly not a family movie. With the release of a blockbuster like 'Pink' last week by Rashmi Sharma Productions the standards one has before entering the hall are extremely high but 'Days of Tafree' fails to impress us and is a big disappointment.

A must see for college students as they can connect with the movie and can enjoy every frame of movie the story was so real that every one will see them in the movie .and for adults it will be take them to past they will love it ...a good past time for them as well.

Loved the role of Diljeet as i can connect with him ..nice acting and most entertaining If someone want to remove there stress then go see the movie there are nice jokes and good punches . Song was OK and everyone will ignore it because of the play and everyone's acting ...so at the end it is a must go movie for teens .

stupid college campus movie
beevenkat18 July 2019
#DaysOfTafree is a stupid college campus movie about a group of youngsters with no concrete aim in life. they waste their time and their parents' money, loiter the whole day, have no respect for values and deserve to be kicked in the butt. the long duration of the movie is an added insult. rating 2/5.

A bucketful of comedy juice packed in a movie
raghuhj24 September 2016
Funniest movie ever! the movie never gets bored at any point. the cast have done a great work in keeping up with the comedy. worth of time. Director gets an applause from our side , for directing such good movie. All in all , great movie. worth Watching. must watch with friends and family. though it is a remake of a Gujarati movie Chello divas, it hasn't lost any essence from the original movie. Great watch for college students though. It will remind you of your college days, Fun and Frolic.all characters were promising. in their roles.. specially Suresh holds the audience throughout the movie with his different comic role.

fuckall movie
jonasaddictjb28 September 2016
This movie was so bad I couldn't even make it to the end.

None of the actors can't act. Literally NO ONE.

Humor is flat and OLD.

Everything has been so overly sexualised that it gives you headache.

Some scenes inspired from PKP. (turned into sh!t though)

Very poor depiction of college life. Just a pathetic attempt at making $$$ by attracting cheap crowd.

Wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone. Also its beyond my understanding why people have rated this 10/10. There is not a single thing that is good about this movie.

Collection Of Popular WhatsApp Jokes & Memes. ♦ Grade D+
nairtejas8 November 2016
Remake of a wildly popular Gujarati film called "Chhello Divas" (2015), this comedy can be best termed as a time-pass affair, if that makes sense.

A group of friends are inching towards their final college days and have vowed to go out with a bang. So, they plan a cultural event which the college has never seen before. The story essentially follows these friends as they end their college life with uproarious fun.

Trying to be like Pyaar Ka Punchnaam (2011) and its 2015 sequel, the film is a collection of jokes and literal translation of memes that you find on social media and WhatsApp. Low quality humor combined with unfunny slapstick is what there is in the first half. Although, the plot tries to fool you with a tragic incident in the first 10 minutes, you know it's a gimmick, and it becomes clear when you realize that there is no story whatsoever, and the characters here are just fooling around. What the characters do does not look least bit realistic. Enough to test the patience of an informer viewer, who would ideally think twice before going for a movie which has such an obnoxious title.

The second half gasps for humor as the characters cross their threshold, and eventually settle for cheap, sexist jokes to quench the audience's thirst. The cast performance is average, to say the best, and by the time you walk out of the hall, it's doubtful you will remember any of these characters or their dialogues.

BOTTOM LINE: Krishnadev Yagnik's "Days of Tafree" is an attempt to cash in on the success of the original film, but unfortunately is so average, you cannot call it a whole film. How about you read the summary and forget the film? Watch on TV.

Can be watched with a typical Indian family? NO
