Inspiring documentary, transcendent Blues musician
ilana-7370827 April 2018
This story is a deeply inspiring story about a blues musician, the great Leo Bud Welch, who began to get due recognition for his art at age 81. He died last year (2017) at age 85, but thank goodness for this film that shows all sides of this special, deeply inspiring and authentic bluesman. He played his whole life, he worked hard, he was a father, and his music is special. This is a rare glimpse behind the scenes of this incredible story. I saw Leo at his last Juke Joint Festival in Clarksdale, MS and his music was so powerful. I'm so glad I have this film to revisit and am sure that generations to come will also enjoy it and learn.
