An absolutely amazing person

I recently heard a podcast on RadioLab where they mentioned Dr. Hilleman.

Intrigued, as a Science student, I could not believe I had never heard of this man who had accomplished so much. I was very happy to find this documentary summarizing the lifetime achievements of Maurice Hilleman.

Anyone who is anti-vax or thinks vaccines have tracking chips, should educate themselves and this video should be part of that education. The insult that it does to the work of Dr. Hilleman and all the lives he saves needs to be understood.

This man cared not for fame, nor fortune. He cared about one thing - saving lives. He did that. He is a TRUE hero.

When you look at your children, at your loved ones, at the world....remember Dr. Maurice Hilleman and all he did for humanity. He saved lives and the world should know his name and remember him.

The IMDb synopsis reveals the importance of the lifetime achievements or Dr. Maurice Hilleman. I had the opportunity to observe Dr. Hilleman many times over a 14 year period. This film accurately describes him although not touching all of his many achievements. The film has been shown at many scientific seminars in the last 3 years; selected for its historical quality and probably as a means of recognizing this not-well-known scientist and the value of his vaccines worldwide.

Great movie about an amazing man.

This movie gives tribute to one of the unsung heroes of modern time - a man who literally saved millions of children's lives and prevented immense suffering. Dr. Hilleman is behind nine vaccines. For decades his focus was on how to prevent disease, and he overcame many challenges to do that.

The movie is clear, gripping, funny and touching at times, informative throughout. It's wonderful to watch. I am going to screen it to my students, and I would recommend other teachers do, too.
