This series is a good deal of fun, in a grisly-murder-solved-by-sad-quirky-loners sort of wss as y. Brendan Gleason is amazing, no surprise there, and all the supporting characters strongly defined. The dialogue is great! My only cavil is that they refer to being in Ohio many times, but much of this has clearly been shot in the South. Outdoor locations show palm trees and bayonet plants and trees dripping with Spanish moss, all of which are in very very very short supply in Ohio. Why not just say they're in Florida or whatever?
