Warning: Spoilers
There was something very perfunctory about this episode. You could see where most things were headed. I'm also kind of bothered that Thea said Malcolm changed at the end. He was always willing to do what it took to save his daughter. His sacrifice didn't mean he changed his willingness to take innocent lives.

Still, the cast was game with what they were given. It was fun to see team Cayden operate in full force. The different villains work well together.

I also admit that I didn't predict them forming two separated teams. That is interesting.

Its a good episode to start 9B

Really, i dont know why everybody says that this episode was terrible, because i liked it, Thea and Quentin conversations were really good, Oliver's plan was good too. I dont like the saturation of villains, i prefer only one bigbad but i can understand that arrow writers are trying new things, and that's fine because if they don'ttry new things Arrow will start being monotonous.

I dont understand why at the end of the episode they went back to Arrow's cave, because they know that Cayden has a camera on the bunker, but they still going back there.

Last episodes of Arrow started having a lot of plot holes.

EXTRA POINTS:

I really liked the reference to Batman in this episode.

I liked the references to videogames like Halo or Call Of Duty.

I give this episode a 8/10.

It could be better but it is OK.

Arrow - S06E10 Divided

Warning: Spoilers
Arrow is finally back on our screens. While I do think the Olicity stuff was laid on a bit to thick in the back end of the first half of this season, I still thought everything else the season did was really well done. I like how they have built this villain team to take on Team Arrow because we get to have many little conflicts within this larger story.

Moving into this week's episode, I really enjoyed what they did. One of the strongest story arcs coming out of the first half of the season was the team splitting and they did a really good job of making that the focus of the episode. I really like the idea of Wild-Dog, Black Canary and Mr Terrific spinning off into their own team. The three of them always had a good dynamic together because they were the new members, so it is going to be interesting to see how that dynamic is tested now that they don't have a clear leader.

On the other side of that, I thought they did a lot of Team Arrow by making them come to terms that it is just the original three once again. This is where the show started before they added the likes of Roy, who we know is returning very soon, and eventually Thea. I think it is going to be good to have that original dynamic from the first few seasons back for a short period of time because it changes up the whole dynamic of the show. Arrow has had a pretty bumpy road throughout it's six seasons and I like how in the last two, they have stripped back elements of the show to what the show was in the beginning.

My favourite part of the episode was with Thea and Lance. I have always really enjoyed this father/daughter type relationship with the two and I think this environment is where both character work the best on the show. What I really did enjoy about this section of the episode is that it is laying down foundation that will be built off in the future. In the past, conversations like this would go no way and be viewed as pointless, but in this case you know that this is going to lead to Lance trying to turn Black Siren at some point in this season.

Overall, a really strong episode back into Arrow. It was nothing that blew my out of the water but it hit all the standards you want in a show returning for the second half of it's season.

OTA is Back. Let's Keep it That Way
ThomasDrufke21 January 2018
My problem with the Arrowverse shows, and specifically Arrow, is that I don't feel like the shows take chances anymore. Almost everything of significance that happens is undone a few weeks later. The break-up of Team Arrow into two separate teams will most certainly be changed within the next few episodes. Granted, there is not a single part of me that feels we even need Rene, Dinah, or Curtis anymore (or maybe ever did). But I know for a fact that those three will be back on the team by episode 14 or 15.

This episode, albeit better than the awful mid-season finale, was yet another example as to how far this show has fallen off the map. And the fact that even with the original Team Arrow taking back the shotcalling duties, I can't say I'm looking forward to next week's episode. Heck, I keep laughing at the fact that there's even a debate as to if OTA can defeat Cayden James & crew by themselves. Have Rene, Dinah, or Curtis ever showed us that they are a vital part of the team? No, it's Diggle, Felicity and Oliver. That's who matters. But I guess this is a different conversation.

There was one particularly great moment in the episode, that being the really great one-shot fight sequence in the warehouse. The action isn't at the point where I care about every punch and kick like I do when there's a good villain, but I can always appreciate a really well put-together fight sequence. And you know what made it so great? It was Ollie by himself in the field. It was also nice to see Thea and Lance have a few scenes together. Those two were a highlight of last season, even with Thea only appearing in like 14 episodes. But besides those two things, there wasn't much to talk about with this episode, at least good things to talk about.

Arrow vs. Everyone
highmarksreviews27 January 2018
"Irreconcilable Differences" was not a good episode to boot, unfortunately, "Divided" barely improves upon it. Aside from one awesome shaky cam one take fight scene, this episode really has nothing going for it. The forced team drama aspect and the continuous failure to flesh out villains just didn't feel right or needed. "Divided" does have good moments, but not enough. Careful optimism for the rest of the season.

This is quickly becoming cartoonish!

...and unwatchable!

Arrow does *three* Peter Pan getaways in one episode?! lol DC television is hopeless, this series is delegated to background noise. (Excluding Gotham - as good as anything Marvel, and definitely not the same SJW writers!)

Instead of the writers focusing on the series soap opera plots (if you're not aware, that's all the show is now), they should allow Oliver to win a frikkin fight, once in a while!

Hope it's temporary
Abdulxoxo15 October 2020
While I'd love to see the direction the new team will take (even tho, they are annoying) I just hope it'll be temporary, two separate two teams is not gonna workout for this show. I hope it'll be for the time being. Vince turns out to be undercover, and it seems like he'll be the inside man for the team in the coming episodes. I'm loving the Thea and Quentin scene. there are good fighting sequences as well.

Divided Doesn't Mean Good...
lassegalsgaard-4528411 February 2018
Warning: Spoilers
One of the things that "Arrow" has always focused on is the team that operates with Oliver Queen. It started out being Oliver alone, finding the men on his father's list. He was then quickly joined by John Diggle, and they became a dynamic duo of their own. Then Felicity Smoak joined and they soon became the trinity that we know and love. Since then, multiple other vigilantes like Roy Harper, Laurel Lance, and Thea Queen joined, but none of them decided to stay. Then, in Season Five, it looked like we were finally getting some new members that would stay on the team for as long as they were needed. However, this season has done a lot to divide Team Arrow, and in the mid-season finale, they decided to split up after a lot of problems with trusting each other. I have been a big defender of "Arrow" for many years, even through Seasons Three and Four, which I thought had its momoents. However, Season Six is starting to go down a path that I don't know if I am going to be onboard with for much longer.

What the episode had going for it was the original team back together. Oliver is now alone again with Felicity and Diggle. These characters feel much more likable and they seem to function much better when it's only the three of them. It has been like that ever since Season One, so when they started adding more members to the team, it started to get a little bit crowded. I have always seen the trio as the best team, but "Arrow" has become a show that puts a lot of focus on working as a team. Seeing these three together offered a lot of great nostalgia that I hope will continue.

And that leads us into the recruits. I have enjoyed them throughout the seasons they have appeared in, but this episode made it very clear that the writers are not going in the best direction with these characters. Their entire arc in this episode felt very tagged on, and their arc going forward seems to be as tagged on. I don't like the idea of them going off and starting their own group, because I don't think they are interesting enough, nor skilled enough to do that. I am afraid that the writers are going to make them much too powerful, and make them into characters that they are not.

All of three of them were also very inconsistent throughout the episode. I commented on that in the last episode, but in this episode is pretty clear that the writers doesn't know how to write these characters at the moment. In one scene, we have Rene in a conflict with himself because of the things he did to Oliver, and then in the next scene, we have him be very angry at Oliver, for things that we already settled in the previous episode. The recruits has much reason to be angry at Oliver, but all the reasons comes across as flat because of very weak writing for these three characters.

I also have a huge problem with the cabal of antagonists we get. None of the characters have reasons to work with Cayden James. There are no motives for any of them besides the fact that they are all somehow connected to Team Arrow. The only character who actually could have a crudge against Oliver, is Anatoly. However, none of the other characters should have any reason to work with Cayden. There is also the fact that we still don't know what they are planning to do, and we have come to the point now, where Cayden James is becoming a useless character. At this point, he is simply one of Oliver's foe for the sake of Oliver having a foe. I don't appreciate the approach the writers are taking with their antagonists this season.

There is, however, an amazing action sequence towards the end of the episode at the port. The cinematography has been consistent when it comes to the action sequences this season, so that is one of the few things that still keeps this show interesting at this point.

Tv series for kids
kobrzzz421 January 2018
Damn this tv series was one of the best in past, but every episode it's getting more and more childish; looks like writers are focused on kids. It has become a real trash.

I'm done with this show.
brettrocks-4037818 April 2018
Can I start off by saying I LOVED this show seasons 1 and 2. Then it got a little off track with season 3, season 4 was dumb, and then season 5 brought me back. I am at least 10 episodes behind because I do not give a rats ass about this show anymore. How can you go from a stellar season last year to a piece of crap season this year? Everyone acts like a baby, none of it makes sense, the main bad guy is dumb as hell, laurel is dumb as hell, and quite frankly this show is dumb as hell. I don't know how the cw thought that renewing this show for a seventh season was a good idea because from what I've seen, a lot of people hate this show now. I can't keep up with it anymore and I'm now done with it. RIP Arrow. You had a good run.
