Love Tyrant

Warning: Spoilers
Anime fans will know of the 'Death Note' a book were those whose names are written in it die but this series features another book; the 'Kiss Note'. This works such that if two names are written together in it those two people will fall in love if they kiss. The note belongs to Guri, a cupid, whose job is to bring couples together. She writes the name of Aino Seiji in the book and tells him that if he doesn't kiss somebody in the next twenty four hours she will die and he will remain a virgin for life! He kisses Hiyama Akane and it turns out she already had feelings for him… now she is madly in love. Madly like a classic yandere character who physically attacks Seiji if he gets close to any other girl; luckily events have made him and some of those around him immortal. Guri also develops feelings for him. Over the following episodes Seiji develops a harem but seems to want an ordinary life.

This was a fun enough series with plenty of laughs to be had during each episode even if probably one of those shows that will ultimately be forgotten amongst all the other comical harem shows. If you enjoy this sort of series it delivers what is expected; there is the almost obligatory beach episode and a decent mix of characters. Seiji is an entertaining enough protagonist although, as in most such shows, it is the girls who provide the real entertainment. Guri is entertaining in a mischievous way but it is Akane who is most entertaining; it makes a nice change to have the protagonist involved with a full on yandere character rather than the usual tsundere. The plot develops well as the story progresses so avoids the repetition I'd expected; towards the end there are some mildly tense moments before everything is resolved. Overall not a must see show but it is fun enough to be worth watching.

These comments are based on watching the series in Japanese with English subtitles.

I suppose its ok...

The fact this anime is sorta like Death Note but in a more romantic way. Basically we see an annoying Cupid girl who is Guri and likes to make couples fall in love thanks to her weird magic. We see as well that she likes a boy but he likes a girl who is pretty much unstable and he prefers to have a normal realtionship without any trouble when it actually is.

Although the anime is a little entertaining, it's easily forgettable and just didn't make me go crazy over it! If it had better story development or even character development, I would've given it a 8 or 9!

Hello Fellow Humans

Warning: Spoilers
This story is about a "Love Angel aka Cupid" but she is apparently in line to be God. She is not very intelligent but she is energetic and compassionate. The male character is your typical Japanese anime male, scared of women and has no backbone. Then you have a few typical arcs. You have the jealous little sister who apparently wants her brother. Apparently this is a thing in Asian cultures. Then you have a psycho girlfriend who kills people and can't control herself. Then you have another little sister who is also insane and in love with the big sister. And yet another insane woman the cousin of the girlfriend.

Basically this show is about how insane women are. How they can't control their emotions at all. That they act before thinking. It is hilarious and a stupid show but worth watching for laughs. It is super funny how they depict women and how emotional they are. Oh and they also have a love note aka "death note" so yeah they stole that. The Cupid writes people's names in the love book and they fall in love. She is stupid and writes the main boys name in it and then hers and the girlfriend and a few other girls aka harem anime but with psychos.

Again it's worth watching once for laughs. If you have other shows to watch then watch them. But if your bored and want to waste a few hours then watch this get your laughs then forget it ever exists.

It's a decent watch

Starts great with one of the funniest anime opening scenes but it's mostly downhill from there. Akane is best girl no debate, she's a pretty fun yandere, all the other girls are just annoying especially Guri, she ruins so many scenes. The character development of Yuzu is meh I'd've kept her a pure yuri and not tried to force feelings for Seiji. I also think it would've been a million time better if they'd just stuck with the thing they had in episode two which was them trying to fix/create a new couple and Akane and Seiji having their relationship develope, if this is what the show was i'd probably give it an 8 or 9. It's still kinda fun but doesn't really deserve a second watch.

Funny and entertaining.

I watched this during quarantine, and while its fairly short, it did make me laugh. If a season 2 was made I would probably watch it.

Laugh out loud. Parody of the all too serious. For the open minded. I couldn't stop laughing.
