Odd couple makes a good match

A lot of this episode is built around seeing how James and Alyssa deal with circumstances. Seems they do it in unexpected and intriguing ways - opposites complimenting each other. The two of them make a surprisingly strong ("who said we were dating?") couple. Considering that Alyssa impulsively ruins situations and James is a little preoccupied with murdering her those two big flaws feel like something they can deal with. I hope they'll be the things that change the most. The settings, the support characters and the script here all play a key role in enforcing this idea that James and Alyssa are together alone, without really anyone to trust of yet to help them over this situation of its own. The promising moments of dark humour and emotive score have followed on for the pilot. Looking for a moment where this show excels! Regardless, I'm still coming along for the ride (No I don't wanna go home, why do you?)

Darkly funny and odd with surprising pathos!

"She's a bit full on, idn't she, eh? The bird." Memorable, quirky English dialog makes this show so enjoyable. The interplay of Alyssa and James' thoughts are so much part of the story, it's like part of the conversation. They're both just crazy and it's incredibly entertaining to watch. James continues to be preoccupied with murdering Alyssa. And no one in this show reacts to the situations they're in in an expected way. It's just nuts.

Bold and Beautiful

Superb. From the outset the series is great: the characters are dark yet funny and engaging and there is a quirkiness that balances the humour and darkness. Solid plot, with clever developments.

The lead actors Alex Lawther and Jessica Barden are simply outstanding. Loved Alex in The Imitation Game, but here he broke all boundaries. Haven't seen Jessica much earlier than this, but now count me as one of her fans. Even thought Naomi Ackie was excellent.

Warning: Spoilers
The episode go along again with the two characters and they meet a military but some things will happened and they will go in separate ways . I enjoyed also the relationship between Alyssa and the guy. They become more closer and the dad of Alyssa can welcome them in the house and we witness at the end a relationship where they become more closer . I enjoyed watching it and i still wondering when the guy will kill her or maybe she will help him to heal mentally maybe . But im pretty curious about what the relationship will become. Need to see more.

Not bad, not special, suffers from the same problems as the first

I found the second episode of this series worse than the the first. Not to say it was bad, it just wasn't all that great either. I found the plot for the episode less entertaining and once again, the characters weren't fully engaging and interesting enough for me. In this episode there are multiple times where things just seemed too convenient. At least most of the jokes landed and the storyline was progressed.
