Thank God for streaming so that you can fast forward. I wouldn't recommend this and can't understand Gregory Fitoussi being involved, maybe filming in NY with expenses was the lure.

Within the first 5 minutes this movie becomes irritating and boring. They even have some kind of Ryan Gosling lookalike in the poster. Awful stuff. Do yourself a favour and watch Irreversible if you want an excellent French movie.
Dull and boring

It takes skill to produce an engrossing film where not much happens (La Separation for instance), sadly not the case in this instance. I watched this because of Gregory Fitoussi and his great work on Spiral and Spin. I can only conclude he worked on this film for a dare or to repay a debt.
Its rating was 2.8 and went up to 3.4 !!!

I think that says it all ....
I'm actually here, writing this , because i was intrigued to see what kind of film would get such a low rating like this I've does ?
Hmm....And .... Well .. i got my answer ... It is this one !! : )
With all the emotion of a Text-to-Speech Program..

To be completely honest, I'm not sure if the entirety of the script itself is destined only for the shredder, but it is nigh on impossible to seperate the bulk of the text from Ana Giradot's Text-to-Speech, circa 2007 performance.
If you are reading this review while watching the film, just as I am writing it, and wondering if you should continue until the end, don't. Save yourself the trouble and turn it off. In order to try and keep myself from slowly becoming lobotomised by Entagled's unrelenting flatness; I ruminated over the fact that the film sounds like it was written by a man (it wasn't), that the premise in and of itself is sound- though unfortunately not followed through in execution, that one doesn't just "..are you still drinking tequila?", that our protagonist Marin should probably search for a better therapist, that Marin likes to wear a full face of make up at all times of day, that it could be a conspiracy that Marin's name sounds so suspiciously close to " Maryin' " 🤷♂️, that maybe Ana Giradot learnt the script phonetically: hence the complete lack of understanding of the melody of English?.. the list goes on.....
Until the film finished...
and I had to lobotomise myself to remove the memory of this film from my brain. There are much better films out there that are successful at what this film tries to be... really don't waste the time.

Struggling for a film to see, saw this only rated avge 3.7/10, thought it cant be that bad. Well it is, very little storyline if any that makes this entertaining.
So Marin decides to help with her issues, that jumping in and out of bed with an ex,etc, will help solve her issues, while Mark goes about solving the problems talking to his mother.
This stage has been performed so many times, that the scriptwriters yet again use, ( sorry Mark) a nerdy sap whose boxing out of his class, by leaving messages on her phone whilst she's rolling around on his bed.
He can always look on the bright side, at least she showered and changed the sheets before he turned up for the "talk".
Take it the therapy worked, poorly written, directed and played out film.
