Good but...

Warning: Spoilers
I've never heard of the Hinterkaifeck murders before. The episode started a little slow but got interesting as I continued to watch. I was disappointed that there was no resolution to it, since the killer was never caught. The information at the end was also unhelpful since according to what I've read online the students of the police academy were unable to conclusively solve the murders, but they did devise a theory that has been kept private out of respect for the families of those involved. No idea why keep this information private since the murders happened in 1922 (85 years earlier) and it's also just a theory but apparently they didn't want to the cause any unpleasantness to their suspect's relatives, who might still be alive.

As with previous episodes this season, I found the missing narration of Aaron Mahnke to be a huge mistake! This episode could have been much more interesting with more context and background. I mean, what makes this story part of Lore? Is it the idea of someone living in the walls or is it the rumors of ghosts that turned out to be a real life perpetrator? The creators made a mistake when they dropped the narration. It was a big part of Lore and I really miss it. With that said, the acting and atmosphere in this episode were good. I will continue to watch until the end of the season. I think Prime Videos should not have canceled this interesting and unique show, maybe they can bring it back one day. Fingers crossed.

Really well done episode and very historically accurate version of events. The tension and terror of the episode is Blockbuster movie quality. Beautifully done!

This one really scared me, I've never heard of this case until now, haunting atmospheric, and it has still been unsolved to this day

Horrid acting

A story that has fascinated for so long. Absolutely ruined by the terrible acting of the child. I literally had to turn the tv off. Sad because I'd do looked forward to the episode and am a huge fan of both the show and podcast. Whoever did the casting really dropped the ball.

I skip the end too slow and boring. Even I took the time to write this review meanwhile
