Not perfect, but actually pretty close. Other than a few jokes that did not land, for the most part the dialogue was sharp and on point. The fast pace is something different from what we usually get.

Written by Nick Hornby and directed by Stephen Frears. State of the Union is a series of 10 minute shorts of a couple meeting in a pub in advance of going to see a marriage counsellor.
Tom (Chris O'Dowd) and Louise (Rosamund Pike) have been married for 15 years. In the first episode, they talk in the pub about who is to blame with the problems in their marriage. Louise had an affair and she blames Tom for not wanting to sleep with her.
The first bite sized episode was more of an introduction. Slightly bittersweet than witty and like a mini stage play. Refreshingly despite disagreeing, the couple do not get into a slanging match. You sense that their might be some hope of salvation in their relationship.
