Rite explains to Kayla what she's doing in the country and where she came from. Meanwhile Peter accompanies Fran to the pool, who's taken her son for hydrotherapy.

Talk about bittersweet, if it's cheap laughs and easy comedy you're after then I would say Forget the Driver. If you're after something mildly amusing which addresses some real life issues, then this is worth a look.

I hadn't fully gotten into this series, until Fran explains to Kayla her reasons for ending up in Bognor, at that moment the hairs stood up on the back of my neck, and I felt engaged.

Jones continues to impress. 7/10

Hydrotherapy

Peter has nightmares about what he has done. He leaves his daughter to deal with the house guest.

It is Kayla and her boyfriend who find her way to communicate with Rita through a smartphone app.

Rita is from Eritrea and she has come to Britain looking for her brother.

Peter looks at the deep end when he takes Fran's son swimming. He realises how much bother he is in when two men angrily come around looking for Rita.

The episode contrasts the attitudes between the twin brothers. Barry with a sunny demeanour and a put upon Aussie accent as he Skype talks to Peter.

The comedy is still of the miserable kind.
