Measure of Revenge may not have earned acclaim from critics, who almost universally panned the film, but fans of Bella Thorne definitely enjoyed the thriller film. The movie is directed by Peyfa, and not much is known about the director, except for the fact that Measure of Revenge is their directorial debut, according to IMDb. It’s quite impressive for the newbie director to have been able to convince some of Hollywood’s hottest stars. Aside from Bella Thorne, Measure of Revenge also stars veteran Melissa Leo, Jake Weary, Adrian Martinez, Roma Maffia,

The first sign of trouble is the credits. In addition to the director using an alias — not necessarily a bad thing, as talented helmers like Kogonada and Daniels can attest — whoever wrote “Measure of Revenge” chose to go uncredited. It doesn’t take long to see why: A mess from start to finish, this would-be thriller about a mother seeking vengeance (Melissa Leo) never comes close to raising the pulse but does raise more than a few eyebrows along the way. That it stars an Oscar winner only makes the whole thing stranger — viewers are likely to spend more time wondering how she came to be involved in such a shoestring production than sympathizing with her character.
The plot, such as it is, concerns vaunted stage actor Lillian Cooper (Leo) grieving the unexpected death of her fresh-out-of-rehab son Curtis (Jake Weary), a semi-famous musician whose death is ruled an overdose...

Surprise! Former Disney Channel star Bella Thorne has emerged to announce her directorial debut, and it’s for an unexpected platform: online adult content forum Pornhub. No, really.
Thorne revealed the project, a short film called “Her & Him,” on Pornhub’s YouTube series “Behind the Scenes.” According to Pornhub vice president Corey Price, the film is “a modernistic, sexually explicit Romeo and Juliet-like depiction of two star-crossed lovers who have unbridled sexual longing for each other.”
For her part, Thorne says in the video that “what inspired me to make the movie was basically thinking about this relationship between a male and a female, and this fight over dominance and how much that relates to us in our general world besides in a sexual scenario.”
