One of the best NCIS episodes ever!
hsiegel-971-32442628 February 2019
The writing-the acting-the chemistry on this show surpasses most TV drivel. The kid who played the Max character really shined during his character's arc. NCIS should bring him on as a regular character to capture the 16-25 segment of viewers. He really went toe to toe with NCIS seasoned actors and not only held his own but truly shined.

Crossing

Warning: Spoilers
It seems like every medical drama has to do the episode where the doctors arrogantly talk to students, but for some reason NCIS felt the need to do that tonight.

And what is with all the weird looks into Torres' backstory and personality? Why not just give us the case of the week?

Unbelievable time line

Warning: Spoilers
I always enjoy NCIS but the writers must have fallen asleep writing this episode. The ship was crossing the equator when the incident happened. So incredibly the ncis team reach the ship so fast it begs to believe. Then after finishing investigating on the ship they made it back to HQ which looks like the same day. This episode falls short like many American series when teams travel around the world and get back same day.

Hug some else

If you want to hand hold the annoying brat so that he finds closure for his father's death, then haND hold the brat. Stupid story point. I needed some cheese to go with all of the whine in this episode.

Hard to Follow a Murder Mystery When the Story Doesn't Adhere to Physical Laws
buddybradley-2266513 March 2019
You've seen Merry-Prankster's comments and the numerous "Goofs." Quality control on this episode was terrible. I watch these to sleuth out who did it; but there's no chance of figuring out how the overdoses happened when the agents seem to travel thousands of miles in minutes and can't keep the time between the overdoses straight. Story could be made to work if NCIS was equipped with transporters and time machines. Everybody at NCIS should be ashamed of this effort.

Series is going down hill
The writers and producers of NCIS or just phoning it in these days.

This episode was full of continuity errors. The Equator is 2690 miles from Washington DC, but some how the team can fly that distance in a day and be on the ship while the Neptune party is still going on. And Palmer is able to make the return trip with the body in the same day. Later in the epsoide, the second death was said to have happened the same day, while another character said the two deaths had happened two days apart.

These continuity problems really make the show hard to follow.

So bad
yasin-0082910 May 2020
An episode with an brat that no one gives a damn about? I don't even know how to describe how bad this episode was. Couldn't even finish it.

One of the most annoying episodes to watch

Warning: Spoilers
One of the toughest episodes the grip by T3. Maybe I took it too literally but if I was Torres I would've been super annoyed too. I understand they want to have a redeeming arc with a tie back in the story with Max's character, but the kids just came across as an arrogant and entitled jerk. The storyline about his dad dying in the bombing could've been tied to a more empathetic character. Vance, Sloan, and Gibbs are all on Torres's case about it but they didn't have to deal with it. To me whatever story they were going for here they swung and missed big time. Unless they want to promote this new generation of entitled kids.

Its tolling for you NCIS. Nobody gives a monkey's chuff for Max and Torres is just d.u.l.l. dull.

Quite generic sadly.
harrykivi25 January 2021
When it comes to "Crossing the Line" it's one of the most forgettable episodes in this season. It was certainly not bad. I enjoyed the humor, the direction and the acting for the most part, but the case itself was sadly mediocre at best.

Overall, not a very good one.
