The judge is a wannabe Morgan Freeman from The Bonfire of the Vanities.

The love for an artist

Good episode. I certainly get the love for an artist. The acting is superb and I just love Brendan Gleeson in this show. Also Justine Lupe is very appealing and people let's not forget Jharrel Jerome. Not as good as his work in "When they see us", but that boy can act! This episode was not as thrilling as other episodes, but it is clearly working up to that point. They deviate from the SK books, which is a bit unfortunate. But I had to give it a 10 to counter the idiotic review by kekistaniterrorist. Total assumption and totally not relevant for a review. If it is or is not the way SK thinks the world will be like when he goes, says nothing about this episode. And btw it is Hodges that is upset about the loss of a great writer, so Hodges is the world? A bit much, don't you think? But you obviously did not understand it, this was totally not the point of the epsiode. You should just watch CSI and leave this show to others.

Steven King's EGO is clearly inflated in this one

It is painfully obvious that all the characters in this particular episode going on and on about the dead author is King's idea of what the world will be like when he kicks the bucket. Look, I probably had read all his books he had out at the time by the late 80s, and a few here and there since, then, so yeah he's not too bad, but jesus h baldheaded christ, the morgue scene was it for me... c'mon man, this whole series has been riveting and I have watched it from start to finish in the last 4 days, and this episode clearly shows some sort of infatuation with how you think the world probably views you. Self aggrandizing narcissism it all I saw in the writing. Wasn't genuine like I remember, or even like the first two seasons. Maybe the editors put that BS in, but the way he's been acting lately leads me to believe it's sposed to be that way. Hope the next episode goes back to the pretty damn good show I have been watchin.

What the other dude said.

Seriously you could make this episode a drinking game. It was embarrassing. I don't recall this happening in the book.

Explain to me why Hodges would be affected like this by an author dying? Granted - his favourite author - but still. It just doesn't ring true at all.
